The weeks leading up to the Easter holiday were just turning out great. Hermione started to get hate mail for "dating" Harry.
"Why didn't you get anything!" Hermione said annoyed as she tried to pick up her fork. She had gotten a ban hex from one of the envelopes.
"I've been getting hate mail since I started living with my aunt and uncle," said Accalia, who just picked at her food. "If I don't recognize the stamp or writing, I toss it in the fire if it gets through the person that monitors the mail."
They got the answer that Celeste and Sirius were looking for with Percy;
As I am constantly telling the Daily Prophet, Mr Crouch is taking a well-deserved break. He is sending in regular owls with instructions. No, I haven't actually seen him, but I think I can be trusted to know my own superior's handwriting. I have quite enough to do at the moment without trying to quash these ridiculous rumours. Please don't bother me again unless it's something important. Happy Easter.
He was quite annoyed with them. A package of Easter eggs came with the letter. Harry's and Ron's were the sizes of a dragon's egg. Accalia's was about half that size, and Hermione's was smaller than a chicken egg.
"Your mum doesn't read Witch Weekly, by any chance, does she, Ron?" Hermione asked quietly.
"Yeah," said Ron, whose mouth was full of toffee. "Gets it for the recipes."
Hermione looked sadly at her tiny egg. Accalia felt bad for her.
"Hey, don't take it personally," Accalia whispered quiet enough to make sure Ron and Harry couldn't hear. She didn't want them to think she was bashing Mrs Weasley...even if she was doing that. "Estelle's been dating Charlie for like...a million years, since seventh year. Yet, Mrs Weasley is still cold to her, it's just how she is. Here have mine."
The start of the summer term was when things got really weird. Her nightmares started to get more and more vivid to the point where she was willingly taking the potion, but she had to go to Madam Pomfrey—who had to call their family healer and Celeste and Aaron—because she needed a stronger one. She was still getting the same nightmare over and over again, with or without it. When they did make it stronger it still didn't do anything.
