"I don't understand how I am supposed to do any of this!" Cassie let out a huff of frustration as she pushed the book away from her and slumped back in her chair.

"Don't act like that," Regulus rolled his eyes and pulled the book back closer. "You just have to focus."

"Easy for you to say," she scoffed, her knee bouncing like it has for the past hour. "Your mind isn't constantly zooming about. One second, I'm thinking of the day you gave me the necklace, the next I'm thinking about how fishes pee!"

"Why are you thinking of—" Regulus stopped himself and shook his head. He knew better than to ask. Instead, he put a hand just above her knee, stopping it from bouncing almost immediately and scooted closer to her chair. "I believe in you, Cass."

"Well, I don't believe in myself."

"I can very well see that."

Cassie snapped her head over at him and glared at his small shrug, "What in Helga's name do you mean by that?"

"Just that I know you can't do this," Regulus shrugged and rose from the chair. He closed the book Cassie was reading and cleaned up the table as he spoke, "Might as well just leave it. Don't we have to meet up with your grandmother for dinner—"

Cassie stopped him from picking up the last book as she glared harder at Regulus. "You don't think I can do this?"

"No, not really," Regulus said simply. "After all, we have been here for two hours and have gotten nowhere—"

"I can do it," Cassie snapped, but there was no anger behind her words.

"I don't think you can."
