"Are you packing?"
Accalia ignored her and continued to pack her clothes. She should be studying but she needs something to do and she can't go see Antonio, it's too late. She has to get this energy out. There's too much...There's too much.
"Accalia. Please talk to me. At least look at me."
Accalia stopped mid fold and looked at Hermione, her eyes sharp and cold. "What do you want from me? Eh? I don't have the time, nor do I want to just sit here and talk to you and act like we are friends. We aren't."
Hermione looked like it was painful to hear, but Accalia couldn't care less. Why should she? How could she? Accalia turned back to her packing, ignoring Dorcas' obnoxious talking. Her and Marlene had gotten into a fight so here she was, talking Accalia's ear off. She wouldn't have minded if she didn't feel like her life was falling apart.
"Accalia, I just...I just wanted to apologize," Hermione said carefully, but Accalia didn't reply, just continued folding. Dorcas stopped talking. "I didn't mean what I said. Not all of it at least. Harry and Ron seem to believe that you are a Duras witch but I studied them and it's just...It's frankly impossible. There is something else going in Accalia and if you just tell me—"
"1917 my great grandmother Sierra fled," Accalia said quietly, looking at the wall by Dorcas' head. "She left her family to survive. They were killed, hung and drowned and lit on fire even. She was young and by herself, barely knew how to survive but she did. They thought she was killed so she changed her entire identity and went to Beauxbatons as a muggleborn. Long story short, she met my great grandpa and had my grandpa Lyall. He showed no signs of sight so Sierra never said anything to her husband. My grandpa had my mum, first girl in generations. Sierra had to come clean as she saw the sight in my mum. Do you know what my great grandpa said?"
Hermione looked at her with wide eyes but shook her head when Accalia turned to her. Accalia gave a smile, but it was empty of all emotions.
