Chapter 16: Whats going on?

WALTER'S POV
I drove to homeland head quarters with Paige. I wonder what the the emergency case is. It must be pretty bad to make us come on at 2am.
"We're here." I say opening the door for Paige. She looks tired. We walk in the only on there is Cabe.
"Where is everybody?" I ask Cabe.
"I don't know, I called them all they said their coming. Except Meghan didn't pick up." He responds. Then Happy and Toby walks in with Sylvester shortly following.
"Wait but I thought she lives at the garage? Didn't you see her Walter?" Cabe asks me.
"Well... I wasn't exactly at the garage."
"What do you mean where were you?" There was a long silence until I said quietly.
"I was at Paige's house."
"What?"
"I was at Paige's house to talk to her about something and I fell asleep."
"You talked to her?" Toby asks. I nod my head.
"And where were you Toby? That mad you so late." Cabe asks Toby.
"I was at Happy's place." Toby responds. I look at Happy who is looking at her feet.
"And Sylvester, where were you?" Cabe asks Sly.
"I was at the hospital... with Megan." Sly responds.
"How is she?" I would usually be mad at Sly but I know their dating now, so I understand. I was also curious to how she was doing.
"She's ok. Not great." Sly responds I know he's being honest because I needed the truth.
"What is happening? Why is everybody pairing up?" Cabe asks even though we all knew he didn't want an answer.
"So why are we here at 2am in our pajamas?" Paige says changing the subject.
"I got a call from an anonymous number saying they have something we need. He says to meet us at this address." He says showing us and address. We get in the car and let Cabe drive since we are all kind of falling a sleep. When we get there all the girls in the car are a sleep. Toby and I wake them up and go inside.
"Where is Meghan?" Toby asks.
"There..." Happy says pointing to Meghan. She's in a chair tied up and with a clothe around her mouth. She looks so sick and pale. She's in her fluffy night shorts and a white cami. Happy goes to untie her but is stopped in her tracks when we hear a familiar voice.
"Stop right there." The voice says. Then we see who the voice belongs to. Collins walks out from behind a corner.
"This is the last time you guys put me in jail. Now you guys are gonna pay and I'm gonna get my spot back on the team. By the way nice pajamas." He says holding a gun up to Meghan's head. She mummers something, but she knows it's no use. I can see the tears welling in her eyes, she would never let a tear fall though.
"What could we do to make you save her." I ask.
"You could give me all of your weapons and Cabes badge... oh and a spot on the team." He responds with a smirk. Meghan shakes her head violently. She doesn't want us to risk anything for her.
"Deal." I say walking over to Collins to shake his hand.
"I guess we agree then." He says walking over to me.
"Cabe give him your badge." I tell Cabe. He knows I have a plan. Meghan violently shakes her head some more. She's in to much pain to see that I have a plan. I whisper something in Toby and Cabe's ear. Cabe hands me his badge and I hand it over to Collins.
"Why thank you good sir." He says holding the gun up to Meghan's head again.
"You said you would let her go." Sly says getting angry, well as angry as Sly can get.
"Well you just go played." Collins responds looking at Toby. He's just about to pull the trigger when I shout
"Now!" Happy drops to the ground so that her leg knocks Collins to the ground. He drops his gun and Toby grabs it and throws it to Sylvester. But the Collins grabs a knife out of his pocket he stabs Meghan in the shoulder.
"What you don't think I prepared for this?" He asks sarcastically.
"But you didn't prepare for this." Toby says.
"Shoot it Sly." Happy says. Sylvester hesitates then shoots it. Paige looks away. It hits Collins in the stomach not a kill shot but it will severely injure him. Toby takes the badge out of Collins hand and hands it to Cabe.
"I think this belongs to you." He says handing the badge to Cabe. Cabe nods. Cabe takes Collins. He informs us that Collins will be put in solitary confinement where it is impossible to escape. Then we all run over to Meghan she looks awful, seeing her like this reminds me of when my sister Megan was sick. I start untying her the first thing I take off is the clothe around her mouth. The first thing she does is puke all over Toby's shoes. Toby moans in disgust and starts helping me untie her. She try's to say something but is to weak to say anything.
"Why did she just puke?" Happy asks Toby.
"Well Collins may have fed her something bad, the clothe may have gagged her, could have been nerves but I'm pretty sure she just got really sick and weak from being tied up and choked by all these ropes. Collins probably also tortured her in some way." He says looking at Meghan, who is coughing. We continue to untie her. Her shoulder is bleeding out from being stabbed. We need to take her to the hospital. After we untie her Sly picks her up gently and carries her to the van. We put her on the back seat and lay her down. Paige sits with her and talks to her so she continues breathing and does not get nervous. Meghan is unable to respond do to how weak she is but Paige continues to talk to her to keep her calm. Toby turns around and tell Meghan
"We are taking you to the hospital, you will be better soon." Meghan shakes her head slowly and weakly.
"You don't want us to take you to the hospital?" Paige asks taking her hand. Meghan shakes her head again. I don't know why she doesn't want to go to the hospital but I assume she has a good reason.
"We can't take her to the hospital." I tell Toby.
"Why not?" Toby asks.
"She doesn't want to go, I know she must have a good reason why." I tell Toby.
"We need to take her back to the garage and you need to help her." I tell Toby. I drive back to the garage. When we get there Sly gently carries her to her room. She pukes twice on the way there. Then Toby comes in. He disinfects the wound and wraps up her upper body with an ace bandage. He then gives her coconut water which can be used has a short term hydration method.
"She needs blood and I don't exactly have any handy." Toby says looking at us.
"Do you have the needle?" Happy asks.
"Yes I have the needles and the bags just not the blood." Toby responds.
"Well then I'll give her some blood." Happy says. Toby hooks her up to the machine and fills up a bag with her blood he then transfers the blood to Meghan. He then gives Happy a bandaid. Meghan still looks sick but she's probably starting to feel better. She falls a sleep. Paige stays in her room to watch her while she sleeps to make sure she's ok.
"Hey Happy can I talk to you for a second." Toby says to happy. I may have been ease dropping in their conversation.
"Sure doc, what's up?" She say walking over to Toby.
"You saved Meghan's life today."
"So did you."
"Then I guess we worked together."
"I guess we did." Happy says. Toby leans in, Happy tense but leans in too. Then they kiss. I saw this coming for a long time.
