Chapter 14: Is this real?

PAIGES POV
It's eight pm and I hear a knock at my door. Who could it possibly be? I open the door to see Walter standing there.
"Walter, what are you doing here?"
"Can I come in?"
"Sure." I open the door and Walter walks in.
"I need to tell you something Paige."
"What is it?" I ask him nervous to what he is going to say. Then Ralph walks in.
"Mom, I can't sleep." He tells me.
"Oh honey just go back to bed I'll be there in a second to sing to you." I tell him he walks back to bed. I look at Walter.
"Walter do you mind if I go sing to him? You can stay here on the couch I'll be right back."
"Yeah, sure go ahead." I walk out of the living room and sing Ralph his favorite song 'Your Song' by Elton John. The whole time I sang it all I could thing about was Walter. I really like him. When I'm done Ralph is asleep. I tuck him in and kiss his forehead, then I quietly walk out the door. When I turn around Walter is standing there.
"That was really beautiful." He says looking me in my eyes.
"You weren't suppose to hear that." I say quietly looking down at my slippers. That song was about him and I have a feeling he knows that.
"But I'm glad I heard it." He says without looking away.
"Well, thank you Walter. So what did you need to tell me." I say walking into the living room and sitting in the couch he follows and sits next to me.
"Paige I don't want to loose you."
"I'm not going anywhere Walter."
"I mean I don't want to loose you to Drew."
"What?"
"I like you Paige."
"I like you too Walter."
"So what do we do now?" Walter asks.
"How about this..." I say leaning in close to him. I feel him tense up but I keep leaning in. We kiss, it's warm and soft. Something I never expected to happen. This goes on for a little while.
"Hey Walter it's getting late, do you want to stay the night?"
"sure." He says with a cute little smile on his face. We watch a movie for a while before we both fall asleep. I wake up to the sound of the phone ringing. I realized that I fell asleep on Walters shoulder. I pick up the phone then wake up Walter.
"Walter wake up! Cabe just called we have and emergency case."
