WALTERS POV
Today is the day Meghan can come home from the hospital. She's not doing fantastic but she's well enough to go home, even though she still doesn't have a clue who we are. The whole team drives down to the hospital together, Happy drives. We walk into her room, she's sitting up on the bed she has a Yankees beenie on, black jeans, red camisole and matching red Jordans (picture in media). She's not able to walk yet so she needs a wheel chair, one of the nurses helps her into the wheel chair. When she's in she slouches down in the chair, I can tell she's embarrassed. I wheel her out to where the van is and Sylvester picks her up gently and places her in the passengers seat, she winces when he picks her up, I put the wheel chair in the back. When we are all settled in the car we start driving back to the garage.
"How are you doing?" I ask her.
"Never been better." She responds sarcastically looking down at the wrap that is around her waist. When we get to the garage Sylvester picks up Meghan and puts her in the wheel chair. I wheel her into the living room and place her next to the coach.
"Ok so we're just going to ask you some questions." Toby informs her she nods slowly.
"Ok first question, name?" Happy asks.
"Meghan." Meghan responds.
"And last name?" Happy asks her.
"Um...J-Jacobs." She says hesitantly.
"She didn't remember that one at first." Toby says biting his bottom lip. Meghan looks down and closes her eyes for a second them opens them.
"Ok we're going to move on to something else. Ok I'm going to move this pen back and forth you watch it." Toby says and Meghan nods understanding. He starts moving the pen back and forth and she watches, her eyes intensely set on the pen.
"Ok how far back do you remember?" Toby asks.
"Since I was a baby."
"What's one of your more recent memories?"
"Um... I don't know I guess when I woke up yesterday."
"Ok good now-"
"What's your most recent traumatic memory?" I ask her cutting Toby off. Toby pulls me aside.
"What does that have to do with anything?" He asks me.
"Meghan has many traumatic memories on this team, for example being shot 2 months ago, or when Collins took her. That could definitely jog her memory." I respond. He nods and we walk back over to her. He continues moving the pen in from of her face. She closes her eyes.
"I don't really remember..." She says thinking very hard.
"Maybe a memory where somebody hurt you." Toby says softly. She shakes her head with her eyes still closed. She starts murmuring things that I can't seem to make out. I hear her says 'no' a few times and 'I'm sorry' but none of us are really sure what's happening. Her eyes shoot open suddenly.
"I don't want to do this remembering thing anymore." She says wheeling herself out of the room.
"What the hell just happened?" Paige asks confused.
"I don't know." Happy replies opening her computer and typing something in.
"I'm going to find her." Shawn says running out of the room. I decide to follow him, we walk down the hall to the extra bedroom at the end of the hall. We look in and see her laying there starring up at the ceiling. I'm not sure how she got into the bed, it must of been painful.
"Meg-" Shawn starts but I cut him of quickly.
"Don't, it will scare her." I say touching his shoulder, he's almost taller then me. We walk back to the living room. The whole rest of the team is crowded around the computer.
"What'd you find?" I ask walking over to the computer.
"Nothing good." Happy says turning the computer screen towards me. I look at it and wish I didn't see what I had just saw.
"What's this?" I ask her upset.
"Well you know how Meghan said her dad went to jail before?" I nod and she continues.
"Well I looked up his files and it turns out he went to jail for child abuse but they ended up letting him go early because he was the only one who could take care of Meghan during her battle with epilepsy." Happy says with a hint of sadness in her voice. I shake my head sadly. The rest of the teams faces get red and they lower their heads.
"I'm gonna go check on her." I say walking to the guest room, I look at her from the doorway. Meghan is asleep now, I walk in and sit myself down on the floor next to the bed. Her hand is over her spleen, I take her arm and gently flip it over revealing scars on her left wrist. None of them are fresh or raw but you can tell that she did cut at one point. She starts moving around and opens her eyes, when she sees me she gives me a weak smile.
"You saw those huh?" She asks.
"When was the last time?" I ask her in response.
"Not since..." She said her voice trailing off.
"Your father abused you?"
"How did you know about that?"
"Your father has a file." I respond and she nods. We sit in silence for a while.
"Do you think we can go back to the living room now?" I ask her she nods without saying a word. I help her into her wheel chair and wheel her to the door. She grabs my arm before we exit the room.
"Don't tell anybody about..." She says rubbing her hand over her wrist.
"Your secrets safe with me." I inform her. I wheel her into the living room and I tell the team that I talked to Meghan already.
"So Meghan-" Happy starts but gets cut off my Meghan.
"Shawn, Sylvester, Toby, Happy, Walt, Paige, Cabe, Ralph." She says not meeting eye to eye with anyone but smiling a bit.
"What?" Sylvester asks.
"Shawn, Sylvester, Toby, Happy, Walt, Paige, Cabe, Ralph. I remember all of you now, you are the people who gave me a home... and a family." She says smiling big. I can't explain the happiness on each on of their faces. We all lean in and give her a hug.
"Ow." She says urgently, I don't think we realized she is still hurt.
"So about your dad." Happy says resurfacing the topic.
"How about we don't talk about it, he's dead now." Meghan suggest.
"Ok fine, what about your epilepsy? Why didn't you tell us?" Happy asks curiously.
"It never came up." I respond.
"But we've never seen you have a seizure?" Toby says.
"That's because I haven't had one in about a year and a half, but the doctors informed me that I had quite a lot while in the coma and so they put me back on the medicine." She informs us.
"Either way I would have left the room or made you leave if I was going to have one but I'm doing well with the seizures now so don't worry." She says softly.
"I hope your out of that wheel chair soon." I says smiling.
"Me too." She replies smiling as well. We continue to reminisce and talk for the rest of the night, we all fall asleep around 3am and then I here my name being called.
