Chapter 64: Dont worry, we got this part 2

WALTERS POV
I watch as the love of my life is taken away from me. Did I just say that? The love of my life. I think I did, and I think I meant it. I can't focus on that right now, Paige is being taken from me- from us and we need to get her back.
"Take me instead." I shout before I even realize what I just said.
"What?" Paige asks nervously.
"What?" Meghan asks through the earpiece.
"You won't get anywhere with her, take me instead, I can hack and I an important government asset." I respond. The man nods and shoves Paige next to Cabe, making her stumble. He takes me violently and hand cuffs my hands behind my back.
"Walter don't." Paige says quietly. An idea pops into my head at this exact moment, I need to tell Paige. Paige and I have connected ear pieces so I could communicate with her but Cabe's is on a different line so she's going to need to tell him.
"Fall backwards." I whisper to Paige.
"Excuse me?" She whispers back.
"Just trust me and tell Cabe." I instruct. I can hear her inhale shakily but I see her whisper something to Cabe who nods. I see her do the 3-2-1 signs with her fingers and then they fall backwards with a bang. Cabe had the rockets in his hand the whole time. I'm not sure what they do after that but I see the men run after them. I stay where I am because it's kind of hard to run with your hands behind your back and I don't think it will be a good idea to get us into further trouble right now.
"What do we do now? We're in the dinning room." Paige informs me.
"Run to the back of the deck, there should be a room, lock yourselves in." I tell them.
"Ok, we're good." Cabe says and I hear a 'click' from the locking door.
"We're going to need a plan B Walt." Cabe says urgently.
"Cabe!" I hear Paige shout in the background.
"They caught you, didn't they?" I question nervously.
"Yep." Cabe replies quietly.
"Time for plan C." I respond, my voice at a whisper. Soon enough they are both standing next to me and the man who took them here have the rockets in his hands.
'Jump into the water' Paige mouths. I give her a confused look and she nods. I do as told and jump over the railing without a second thought. I have no idea why I'm doing this, but I trust Paige. Luckily the men didn't even lock the hand cuffs and I'm able to get out of them.
"Catch!" Cabe shouts throwing me the rockets. I get worried because I can't catch for my life. Suddenly I see Sylvester come onto the deck and he jumps out into the water, catching the rockets as he falls into the cold water.
"What the hell." I say before I even realize I'm talking.
"Jesus Christ, tell me Sly just jumped into the water." Meghan says, astonished.
"That's exactly what happened." Sly responds giving me a tired smile. The rest of the men jump into the water and try to get the rockets from us. Sly pushes me back away from the men. Suddenly we see blood from under the boat.
"The motor just killed them." I say.
"Yep, since we just stayed back they ended up killing themselves by accident." Sly responds nodding.
"So they're all dead?" I ask him.
"Well two of them, the other one is up there." He says pointing to Cabe who has the man in hand cuffs.
"Nice job Sly." I say giving him a fist bump. The boat docks at the nearest docking station and we all get off. Cabe calls homeland and gets us a plane home. When we get there we stop by the hospital.
"Good job my friends." Meghan says when we walk into the room.
"Couldn't have done it without you." I respond sitting down. Ralph is asleep on the bed.
"We did well today guys." Paige says smiling.
"We did. We should be getting back to the garage now." I suggest. Paige carries Ralph to the van and we all get in. When we get to the garage I pull Paige aside.
"Hi Walter." Paige says happily.
"Hello Paige. I just wanted to tell you that you did very well on the case today, I'm proud of you, Paige." I respond nodding my head.
"Thank you Walter, you did well too."
"Uh... Paige I was wondering if you wanted to... uh... go out to dinner with me tonight?" I ask her in my kindest voice, she smiles.
"I would love that Walter." Paige replies with a huge smile on her face. She leans in and kisses me.
"I'm going to go get changed for the date." Paige says with her forehand against mine. I didn't realize it was a date until now, but I'm happy it is, and I can't wait until our date.
