Chapter 71: to the party

(2 weeks later)
MEGHANS POV
I wake up at 1:07 to somebody shouting my name. I turn around and the entire team is standing there. I jump off my bed, startled, hitting my head on the ground.
"What the fuck?" I say, confused.
"We have a case, get up." Walter instructs.
"At 1am?" I ask, checking the clock by my bedside.
"Yep, lets go." Toby says, gesturing for me to get up off the ground. I jump up and run down stairs. Max is fast asleep in his crib, it has been 2 weeks since I had him and I've never been happier.
"What's the case?" I ask, yawning.
"Well there is a man a club right, who has a chip, that with one push of a button, can release a bug into the FBI database, screwing over the entire FBI. Getting their information, workers, cases, secrets." Cabe informs us.
"Ok, so what can we do?" Happy asks Cabe.
"We need somebody to go into the club and lead him on, hopefully he will take you back to the room, where you can retrieve the chip and get out of there." Cabe tells us, when he says this everybody looks at me.
"Oh hell no." I say, before anybody even has the chance to say anything.
"Come on, we need you to go in there." Walter responds, desperately.
"No, I just had a kid, and I have a boyfriend, I am not going into some night club to flirt with a guy I don't even know. Why can't, Paige or Happy do it?" I reply, defensively.
"There is no way I am sending Happy in there." Toby replies, taking Happys hand, Happy rolls her eyes.
"And Paige?"
"I don't think Paige should go in there." Walter replies.
"And why is that, Walter?" I ask, smiling.
"She just shouldn't." He responds, I look over at Paige, she's blushing.
"Ok whatever, what do I do?" I ask, giving up.
"Here put this on and then we're going to the club." Paige says, tossing me a dress and heels. I go to hay room and get changed, Paige comes in and does my makeup. When I come out, I look like a freakin stripper (picture in media).
"You can't be fucking serious." I say, angrily.
"It's the only way you can get into the club, you have to look at least 21 years old, and your like 5 feet tall. Oh and put in your contacts." Walter informs me, in a convincing tone. He throws me my contacts case. I in my contacts and throw my glasses on the couch.
"Let's just get going." I respond, walking out to the car. Everybody follows after me.
"So where is this 'club' anyway?" I ask, suspiciously.
"It's only about 5 minutes from here." Cabe responds from the drivers seat. Eventually, we make it there. It is a huge club, that looks more like a bar to me. Happy hands me her ID, so I can get into the club, and I exit the car, but before they close the door I pop my head back in.
"We do not tell Shawn about this." I say, before closing the car door. I walk into the club, trying to act confident. I find the man and take a seat next to him.
"Ok try to start a conversation." Paige instructs. I turn towards the man.
"Hi there." I say in a sexy voice.
"Why hello there beautiful." The man replies, looking me up and down, I feel uncomfortable but refuse to move.
"Can I buy you a drink?" He asks me.
"Uh... um... uh..." I stutter nervously, because I don't drink.
"Don't talk much? I like that, I'll be right back with the drinks, Miss Mysterious." The man replies, walking away.
"What are we going to do now? I don't drink." I ask the team, nervously.
"Can't you just have one drink?" Happy asks.
"No you don't understand, the alcohol can't mix with my epilepsy medication. I literally can not have alcohol." I reply, quickly.
"Ok um..." Walter says before the man walks back with the drinks. I take the drink and put it on the counter.
"Hey look at that." I say pointing into the distance. When he turns around I throw my drink into the plant. When he turns around I pretend to be drinking from the empty glass.
"Problem solved." I say into the ear piece, the team can't see what we are doing but I'm sure they understand what I did.
"So what's your name gorgeous?" He asks me.
"Haley. Yours?"
"Stephan." He responds, smirking.
"So why are you here tonight? Stephan." I ask Stephan in the same sexy tone of voice as earlier.
"I was hopping I would meet a stunning women like you." He responds, looking straight at my breasts.
"Fantastic." I reply, squirming in my seat a bit.
"Want to get out of here?" He asks me, smirking. I hesitate for a moment.
"Say yes." Paige says through the earpiece.
"Sure." I respond to Stephan. We walk back to his room, when we get there we walk in and he leans over and kisses me, it is unpleasant but I kiss back. I reach into his pocket and take out the chip, I put it into my bra, since I don't have a pocket, as we continue kissing. I am disgusted by this man, and I really want to leave. I pull away from him and check my wrist watch.
"Look at the time it's getting late I-" I start but get rudely interrupted by Stephan.
"I know you work for the government, you piece of shit, now give me back my chip and you'll get this back." He says locking the door behind us and holding up my ID card, that says 'Meghan Maria Jacobs, government contractor. Date of Birth 11/16/98.'
"Oh, and you might get to keep your life." He says holding a gun up towards my head. I put up my hands and slowly hand him the chip, he grabs it out of my hand and violently grabs me by the waist and pushes me to the ground, making me hit my forehead on the ground.
"I was just kidding about the whole 'keeping your life' thing." He says shooting the gun, releasing a 'boom' sound. The bullet just barely missed my head. He leans forward towards my ear.
"Oh who are you talking to 'Haley'." He asks taking the earpiece out of my ear.
"You can meet your dear coworker at the lake, that's where she will meet her unpleasant death, hope to see you there, my sweet victims. Oh, and bring some files, I'm willing to barter." Stephan says into the earpiece before dropping it on the ground and smashing it into pieces with his shoe.
"Yah hear that, you dumb shit? We're going to the lake." Stephan says in a devious tone. He pulls me roughly up from the ground, hand cuffing my wrists together. He pushes me out the door and to the hotel exit, he takes me a few blocks away where a lake is located. the entire team is standing there, staring at me nervously, Cabe has the government files in his hands.

Sorry I couldn't update recently! I had football practice and my cousin was over! Also I'm going to be on vacation for 3 days so I might not have wifi, and might not be able to update! Sorry again!
