Chapter 81: Paige?

Meghans POV
"Hello?" I say, picking up the phone. Who on earth could be calling me at 2 in the morning?

"Meghan, its an emergency get to the garage, quickly!" The person on the other line shouts, I think it is Walter, but they are so frantic it's hard to tell.

"Okay, okay. I'm on my way!" I respond, getting up and getting on my shoes. It sounds dangerous so I can't take Maxwell with me.  I pick him up and put him in his car seat and I get into the drivers seat. I drive over to Patrick's house as fast as I can without going over the speed limit. I pick him up and run to Patrick's front door.

"Hi Patrick, I'm so sorry to wake you-"

"Happy just hung up she already told me the situation, I'll take Max, you go." He replies before I even finish talking. I smile and hand him Maxwell.

"Thank you." I shout as I get into my car. He nods and waves.

I jump back into my car and speed down to the garage. Luckily, it doesn't take me long to get there from Patrick's house.

Once I get there I jump out of my car and sprint into the garage. When I walk in I see blood on the walls and the ground, it's Paige. Everybody is crowding around her except for Sylvester who is a little farther back. I run over to her and kneel down next to Toby.

"What the hell happened?!" I say, frantically, examining the wounds.
"Paige is staying with me tonight, I wasn't back yet-" Walter starts but is caught off by Paige.
"Somebody was in here." She adds, weakly.
"They shot you?" I ask, she shakes her head.
"Stabbed." Happy corrects me.
"Oh my god." I state. I can tell that Paige and the man were probably fighting and she was pushed up against the wall and then stabbed. There is a stab wound around the top of her stomach and her right shoulder.
"Quick Walter give me your shirt." I tell him, he nods and hands me his shirt, I rip off the sleeve and wrap it around her shoulder and give the rest to Toby who presses it gentle on her stomach.

"We have to get her to the hospital." I state, helping Paige sit up, she winces.

"Okay Toby and I will take her, you four stay here and try to figure out who did this." Walter demands, we all nod, Walter picks up his fiancé and runs out of the garage with Toby not far behind. I turn to Cabe, Happy and Sly.

"Lets get to work." Happy says, she goes to the computer to look at the security camera Walter set up last week, while Cabe goes to the door nob to take the finger prints. It doesn't take Happy long to check the security camera but of course it came up with nothing, but a black screen, the person must have seen it and cut the wires or blocked the camera with something. Happy types something into the computer and then her eyes get wide.

"Not good."

Short chapter today, but I start spring break at 2:15 today! Its 10:13 when I posted this! So excited! I am going to update this story again Wednesday the 18th and my other story super soon! I love you all and hope you are having a great day! XOXO❤
