Its supposed to flood today. The weather man said it would be the worst rain storm in 6 years. I walked around my farm making sure all my plants were harvested and checked on my chickens making sure they'll be safe and fed. I started to head back in and the rain came down hard  i started to run to my house but tripped over my hoe I left in the path. I tried to stand but I fell back immediately, a shooting pain ran up my leg and I screamed for help. And to my rescue I saw Harvey in a rain coat running up to me.

"Oh yoba, are you ok whats wrong?"

"Ankle. I can't walk"

He inspected it and tried to pick me up but couldn't.

"Its ok just...hand me the hoe."

We walked...well I limped back to the porch.

"Tell me, is there anyone I can call to come take care of you?"

I looked around thinking about who would be ok coming up here, then my phone started ringing it was sebby.

"Hey, its raining pretty bad can I hang out with ya for a while?"

"Yeah, but you might have to help me out"

"Anything for you, bug"

I smiled to myself as I hung up, I told Harvey ill be good and he left instructions to help while the storm continued. Before he left he said he was making sure everyone was ok before it go too bad. He's a really sweet man. Before long seb was at my door, I yelled for him to come in and he ran to me once he saw me on my couch with the TV on.

"Bug! What happened!? Oh yoba what can I do?"

I smiled at his silly nickname he calls me. He sat next to me and waited for me to respond for me to only smile at him and ask him to change.

"Oh im soaking I'm so sorry! I'll be right back. Hey do you still have extra clothes for me in the bottom draw?"

"Yeah! Hey after can you bring me a drink?"

"Id love to, bug"

He came back in grey sweats and his old band shirt that him and Sam made a bunch of for their band. I loved the shirts and bought a few of them. He brought me some snacks and some cola as we watched anime.

"So tell me what happened, bug?"

"I tripped when the rain got hard. Dr. Harvey found me before it got worse."

"Thank yoba for the doctor."

"So why were you out for so long?"

"Oh..."

He stood up to throw some stuff away and looked back at me concerned. I smiled at him waiting for a response, he usually hangs out at the beach for a while during rainy days but he's usually back before it gets dark.

"Sebby?"

"Yeah I uh I was at the beach talking to someone. You know how last year you bought me that bouquet and we started dating...casually"

I smiled remembering how terrified I was going into his room with those flowers, he made me feel so much better after my stumbling over my words.

"Haha yeah it was a nice day, you were being so cute"

"Oh i was being cute, you were the one mumbling about how cute my hair is"

"Shut up! Ok ok so what about us starting to date?"

"Well I know you don't know about this, you've been here awhile but I doubt anyone mentioned the mermaid pendant guy. When...you want to get married you buy them that pendant but you can only get them on rainy days and their pretty expensive."

"Sebby? Whats going on?"

I was very confused but also trying to not get excited. We had been dating for a year and been very open but he did say "casually" dating.

"I wanted to wait just till I talked to my mom...listen I love you. I love you more than I love the rain, and frogs. So..."

He got down on his knee infront of me  and opened a small box with a blue necklace that looked like a sea shell. My face went red and I tried to stop smiling but couldn't.

"Bug....y/n...will you marry me?"

"...sebby....of course i will."
