Stardew valley one shots

Today's Alex's birthday so I made him a whole buffet to celebrate with him. A knock at the door alerted me to it and when I opened it was Hayley wrapped around an annoyed looking Alex.

Y/n:alex! Hayley! Hey and happy birthday alex!
Alex:hey, sorry about her. She...wanted to be the first person to say happy birthday.
Y/n:oh so she texted you first?
Hayley:what?
Alex:oh yeah. Y/n texted me at midnight, happy birthday see?

Hayley knew I had a big crush on Alex and I knew she felt the same about him. The difference was she and him have history and Alex and I well hes kinda just my best friend. He tells me everything and vise versa, he even talks about him and Hayley to me. I've told her that I won't do anything except be his friend and luckily she believes me so I don't have to worry about her getting mad, shes so scary sometimes.

Alex:oh wow you really made all my favorites!
Y/n:well this was what you wanted for your birthday, a full morning of food specially prepared and I have something for after.

I had pulled some of my old joja strings to get a gridball team out on my farm and to play with Alex. It also helped that with my farm running strong for 4 1/2 years I've made alot of money. Alex ate most of the food on his own, Hayley and I ate as well and I got a call from the gridball couch saying they were at the bus stop.

Y/n:ok Alex, this is my actual gift. But um...warning, its only here for 1 hour.
Alex:oh my yoba did you get me a kangaroo!
Hayley:what? Why a kangaroo?
Alex:...I wanna see if ill fit in the pouch.

I tried to stop the smile inching on my face and ran out to the bus, the team greeted me and I showed them my farm, Alex ran out and almost screamed from excitement. The team and couch let him play quarter back and Hayley and I were his cheerleaders. It was fun, the team ended up staying for 4 hrs since they all were having fun and got to eat the food I made for Alex's buffet birthday. It was getting late and Hayley had Alex walk her home. I said goodbye and Alex gave me a tight hug thanking me for making his birthday the best day ever. I started cleaning up thinking about how I wish he was more than my friend. As I finished up and went to take a shower I couldn't help but fantasize about a life with him.

Everyday hed get up early and workout on the farm and help me with chores. Id make us a complete breakfast and we'd watch stupid movies at night. I heard the door as I was leaving the shower, I ran up with my towle still on and opened it. It was Alex.

Alex:oh sorry! I uh..I
Y/n:come on in, let me get changed.

I blushed as I ran back to put my pjs on. When I walked back to the livingroom Alex was holding a bouquet and he was staring at it confused.

Y/n: oh did...um are those for Hayley?
Alex:huh? Oh um...no they're from her.
Y/n:so you accepted thats...thats great.
Alex:no, she kinda shoved them into me and locked her door. I...I dont like Hayley like that anymore to be honest. I haven't liked her for a long time now.
Y/n:really? Why didn't you tell me?
Alex:i wanted to be sure of how I felt I guess....can you help me with something?

He dragged me outside and to hayleys. We put the bouquet in a box with a note for her inside saying essentially what Alex had just told me. I felt bad for her honestly, she really doesn't like anyone else. She barley stands anyone else infact but Alex is kinda her only friend. At least I have seb and Sam and Abby. I'm even friends with Emily. But hayley...only has Alex.

Alex:ok, now for the scary part.

He took me to his house, his grandparents were asleep and he quietly closed they door as we snuck in. When we got to his room I sat on his weight bench like I usually do, he went under his bed and grabbed a bouquet. It was one from Pierres shop but from a different seasons flowers, he bought this months back.

Alex:now to give this to the person i actually want to date.
Y/n:lead the way.
Alex:....ok, come on.

We walked out into the dark again, I could hardly see so Alex offered me to hold his hand. We walked for a bit and finally stopped, it was still too dark to tell where we were but I could heard alex laugh a little.

Y/n:why are you laughing?
Alex:its funny, I'd thought you'd recognize your farms entrance.

He pulled me along to my door step as I processed what he had just said. He set the flowers down in my kitchen and sat down staring at me.

Y/n:....of course I will.
Alex:really?
Y/n:duh!

I hugged him tight and kissed his cheek as we started to notice the sun come up.
