Its 10 pm, our daughter is sleeping on the couch with me and Alex is in bed. I can hear his snoring, its making emmy giggle.
Y/n:em, shhh we have to be quiet
Em:sorry mama, mama are you ok with this...I know how hard you work
Y/n:im ok baby. I know you can't sleep and daddy needs rest. I can take the day off to sleep tomorrow
Em:I love you
Y/n:and I love you honey pot.
Em:will daddy be mad if we sleep in his bed?
I smiled at her little sleepy face, 10pm turned to 12pm in what felt like seconds. We crawled into bed with alex and I heard him hum as emmy curled up to him and I big spooned him.
Alex:shes never gonna sleep alone at this rate
Y/n:but tell me, would you rather her sleep alone and never get these sweet moments?
Alex:....goodnight, my love and my princess
He kissed us both as we cuddled him. In the morning Penny came and too emmy to school, Alex and I stayed in bed a while longer just talking about how happy the other makes us.
