Aboard the Orochi, Royston oversaw the sailing of the ship while keeping a lookout for any signs of Azur Lane
Royston's thoughts: where is Azur Lane? They should be responding to this threat by now, especially Evan since I kidnapped Shinano again
Royston thought and thought before smiling
Royston's thoughts: Maybe he finally realized that Shinano is weak and decided to let her die. hahaha what a cruel commander. Then again, Shinano is weak like my Yorktown and Richelieu so it's understandable why Evan would abandon her. After all, there's only death for weak shipgirls
Royston silently laughed before one of the humanoid sirens relayed some news to him
Humanoid Siren 1: Grand Admiral! some ships are blocking us ahead
Humanoid Siren 2: It's Azur Lane
Royston's thought: ah shit there they are
Royston: they're here... Damn pests
Humanoid Siren 3: among them are a Gerald R Ford Class Aircraft Carrier, a Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier, a Baden-Wurttemberg Class Frigate and an Admiral Grigorovich Class Frigate
Royston: looks like Evan and his friends are here. better send them my greetings
*The waters around Wake Island
*Kenneth POV
After spotting the orochi through my binoculars, i immediately sent a transmission to Evan, Jabir and Mashkur
Kenneth: Everyone! Immediately do the Final Salvo! Suppress the Orochi!
Evan, Jabir and Mashkur: Roger!
I held my Jet Calibur like a bazooka and aimed it at the Orochi
Kenneth: Final Salvo
Kenneth Jet Calibur: Final Salvo!
The 'core' of my jet calibur spun and glowed red as it tried to lock onto the Orochi
Kenneth Jet Calibur: Target lock! Explosively Suppress It!
Kenneth: Blitzing Air Strike!
a large airgroup took off from my Carrier and attack the orochi with lasers and plasma bombs after I yelled out the name of the Final Salvo. meanwhile I saw Evan launching his Blitzing Air Strike beside me and Jabir and Mashkur launching their laser strikes. In addition, our shipgirls launched airstrikes loaded with incendiary bombs and fired lasers from their cannons at the Orochi. The final salvoes hit the orochi exploding and covering it in smoke
Kenneth's thoughts: did we get it?
my thoughts were interrupted when I received a transmission from an unknown source and the smoke cleared, revealing that the Orochi is still afloat, albeit damaged from the final salvoes
???: Hahahaha. Final Salvoes? been long time since I used one before I got kicked out for no reason
a familiar voice came out of my transmitter and I instantly recognized it
Kenneth: Royston...
Royston: listen Azur Lane and especially you, Evan. Evan's Shinano is captured by me and is now this Orochi's power source so if you plan on launching another final salvo on this orochi, you better think again
Royston laughed before the transmission ended. I gripped my hands in frustration before my jet calibur beeped and Evan's voice came through
Evan: sir let me rescue my shinano
Kenneth: how?
*timeskip
*Evan POV
I stood on the flight deck of my Nimitz Class Carrier staring at the Orochi. My jet caliber is in my left hand as I waited for Admiral Kenneth to give the signal. The signal arrived once my jet caliber beeped
Kenneth: Evan. Jabur, Mashkur and I will cover you while you and your shipgirls sail towards the orochi and enter it by blasting a hole in its hull at point blank range. we will regroup some distance away and finish off the orochi
Evan: Roger! Jet Burner!
I flew into Le Terrible's ship to prepare to enter the Orochi
Evan: Sir, I'm ready!
I spoke to Admiral Kenneth using my jet calibur after my shipgirls dismantled their production ships and summoned their riggings
Kenneth: Understood. I'll commence the attack now. use this as an opportunity to enter the Orochi
a few minutes after Admiral Kenneth ended the transmission, the other ships started bombarding the Orochi with everything they have
Evan: Azur Lane! Emergency Sortie! Le terrible full speed ahead to the Oorochi
I began issuing out orders and we sailed towards the orochi while Jabir, Mash and Admiral Kenneth kept the orochi busy. once we're close enough, I took out my jet calibur and spun it for the pommel to reach my mouth
Evan: Azur charge!
I spun my jet calibur back to its previous position before putting my reminiscence of the sea into it. The blade of my jet calibur glowed blue and the 'core' begun to spin and glow red
Evan's jet calibur: Tenkuu V No Ji Giri
Evan: Sky V Slash
I made two slashes at the hull of the orochi in the shape of a v that explode once they hit the hull in coordination with the attacks from my shipgirls that made a giant hole in the hull. i then flew into the hull with my shipgirls sailing towards it and jumping in it shortly afterwards
Evan: Everybody okay
Evan's Veneto: I'm okay
Evan's Bearn and Algerie: we're fine
Evan's Foch: that sword of yours is awesome le captain
Evan's Aquila and Le Terrible: we're okay
I nodded my head before contacting Admiral Kenneth using my jet calibur
Evan: Sir all of us are in
Kenneth: Acknowledged. You're all on your own now so be careful. We'll retreat some distance away for our coordinated attack so you have until then to rescue your Shinano. Good luck
Evan: Roger
