Astrid's P. O. V:

As we return to our camp, Arthur asks Leon and Percival about the state of Camelot and how we could possibly sneak back in, Excalibur sheathed at his side.

"What about the drawbridge?"

"Well manned—as are the northern gates," Percival answers.

"The battlements on the southside?"

"Arthur, even if we can get inside, she has an army."

"And we have what? A few hundred?" Arthur asks, gazing around.

"And they still outnumber us," Percival retorts as we pause.

"Yeah, but, only three to one!"

Leon scoffs at this as Isolde asks, "And do you think they'll fight?"

"They'll fight for Arthur," Leon says unwaveringly.

"It's not me they have to fight for," Says Arthur. "It's for Camelot."

"No, Arthur," Leon says, shaking his head. "It is you that people love, and you that they will lay down their lives for. I know that I would ride into the mouth of Hell for you."

"And I," Agrees Percival.

"And I," I say.

Merlin says unwaveringly, "And I."

Arthur nods and unsheathes his sword as he says in agreement, "To the mouth of Hell it is."

As the knights were sitting around or getting ready for bed, I was with Merlin, Leon and a couple of other knights by the fire my husband was proding into with a stick, when he suddenly hands me some flowers.

"I found those earlier and thought you might like them," Merlin says.

Blushing lightly, I take the flowers and lean forward to kiss his cheek, making Merlin blush

Blushing lightly, I take the flowers and lean forward to kiss his cheek, making Merlin blush. I sniff the flower's wonderful scent before raising my eyes to Merlin's and smiling at him.

"They're lovely, Merlin," I say softly.

He says, "Oh, and I think you should have these back!" I smile at the sight of my leaf and flower entwined wedding ring and gold heart locket. I go to put them on, but Merlin grips my hand gently and slides the ring onto my right index finger. Then he gestures for me to turn which I do. I gather my long blonde hair in one hand and pull it over my shoulder do Merlin could clip the locket back around my neck.
