Canon-divergent. If Sooho had let them have a moment alone that one time.

"She's my fiancée," Kangmu said as Hanna sat on the bed in front of him. "Is one moment alone too much to ask?"

Hanna watched the armed spy with bated breath. Sooho looked between the two.

"Make it quick."

He walked out and closed the door behind him. Hanna didn't hear footsteps walking away, so she guessed he was waiting right outside, ready to burst in with gun blazing if they did anything suspicious.

She grabbed the cloth out of her pocket and began wiping the rest of the blood from Kangmu's face.

"Hanna," he said. "I'm fine."

"Don't give me that bullshit," she said. "You've got a gunshot wound and your face is covered in blood."

He smiled. Hanna didn't know if she wanted to slap it off his face for being so idiotic or not. She decided to refrain from doing so.

"That bullet was headed right for me," she said quietly, brushing some hair from his temple. "You tackled me out of the way."

"Yes, I remember."

She lowered the cloth, looking him right in the eye. "Why?"

"Why what?"

"Don't play dumb," she said. "Why did you let yourself get shot for me?"

He shrugged with his good shoulder. "I guess I'd rather it have been me than you."

"You say that like it's not a big thing," Hanna said, putting the cloth down. Kangmu's eyes followed her hand.

"You protected me from the chandelier when it fell."

"Oh, please. You threw yourself over me."

"They had to drag you kicking and screaming out of the dorm."

She scoffed. "Like I'd ever willingly leave you."

He looked up at her. She stared back at him. If he hadn't been tied up and didn't have a bullet in his shoulder, Kangmu might have done something stupid like hug her. Then he wouldn't have to worry about Sooho shooting him. Hanna would kill him right then and there.

"Sooho," Kangmu whispered. "He told me that if I wanted to live-"

"Okay," the door burst open and Sooho marched back in. "I gave you a while. You, agent, come with me to the cafeteria."

"Bring him to the cafeteria too," Hanna said, getting up from her knees.

Sooho frowned. "Come with me. Now."

"Hanna-ya," Kangmu said calmly. "I'll be all right. Just go."

"I would listen to your fiancé," Sooho said. "Let's go."

Kangmu nodded at her, and she stood, hesitantly following Sooho out of the room.

I'll get you out of here, Hanna promised silently. I swear on my life.
