Just some headcanons for the greatest ship quite possibly ever.

HC #1: There is no way Pi wasn't at least a little attracted to Kangmu. He was just too focused on Hanna to ever notice.
It's really when they're talking about Cheongya and Pi tells him that love is greater than any ideology and he says he should learn a lesson from her.
Hyeryeong might've been on to something when she says she thinks they might be in love.
And the age difference seems a little gross but it's the same as Sooho and Yeongro's and Cheongya and Sooho's.
Also Pi would probably be a little jealous of Hanna. She literally spies on Kangmu trying to call her after the radio broadcast fiasco for apparently no reason.

===

HC #2: Kangmu would definitely try desperately to make up the six years he was gone by spoiling Hanna and completely showering her with affection. She'd be a little flustered by him but also think he's adorable.

===

HC #3: Kangmu and Hanna when they're alone and Kangmu and Hanna when they're with other people are almost unrecognizable. When they're around other people they treat each other as just a friend or coworker, but when they're alone they're so cute together that it's sickening. And of course they'd never let anyone else but each other see their softer side.

===

HC #4: Just. Really. They need to go kick Hanna's father's stupid ass together. Enough said.

===

HC #5: if they ever have a son, they'd name him Lee Sooho since Sooho was really the only reason they ever saw each other again.

===

HC #6: after the hostage situation Hanna and Yeongro became almost like sisters as Yeongro recovered from all the trauma of the situation since Hanna had been through a lot of similar shit and helped her through it. Hanna picked Yeongro to be her maid of honor at her and Kangmu's wedding since she didn't have any close female relatives and also Lee Sooho's godmother.

===

HC #7: the orchid like the one Hanna buys for Kangmu's desk definitely means something to both of them. There's no other way to explain the look they exchange after Dongjae asks her what's up with the orchid. Maybe they met at a plant vendor's stall at the marketplace, or Kangmu had gotten her a similar one before he disappeared. Whatever theory you want to come up with concerning that, it's no coincidence that in that very same scene after Dongjae leaves Hanna brings up the fact she had a fiancé who left her.
Also as soon as I heard her say that, I was like "watch it be Kangmu. It's definitely him."
And I was right, yay me.

HC #8: it's unfortunately easy to infer that An Gyeonghui doesn't just see Hanna as a coworker/employee, and that he hasn't for a while, maybe not ever. This would explain her slight reluctance to follow him into the back file room (where it would be harder to hear something from the rest of the office), her less-than-warm response when he asks her to come to dinner, and her eagerness to leave as quickly as possible. He also adds 야 (ya) to her name in one of their scenes, which is often used as a term of endearment (I believe this is the only time someone in the ANSP office ever uses 야 but I could be wrong).
Well, Kangmu calls Hanna Hanna-ya at least twice in episode 16 but that makes more sense considering their relationship than Gyeonghui calling Hanna that just out of the blue, especially if they don't have any kind of relationship outside of work.
Gyeonghui defends her in front of Lee Kangmu when she shoots at the projection board, also telling him how good she is at her job. So he definitely trusts her, which explains his confusion after he catches her with Gal.
He's is also obviously reluctant to hurt Hanna in episode 16, even though he has no problem shooting Gal right in the middle of the studio. He never orders the agents to hurt her, he only nods when her father orders it. He even restrains her father from hitting her again. It's also kind of suspicious that when Hanna gets out she has absolutely no physical signs of having been beaten.
In an earlier episode (I forget which one) he tells Hanna that what she doesn't know can't hurt her, which obviously makes her suspicious and leads to her teaming up with Gal, but the point is he's trying to keep her out of the most dangerous cases... but why would he do that when it's clear he knows she's an excellent spy and as good as "one hundred warriors"?
Gyeonghui is also obviously no fan of Kangmu, but I don't think he actually knows that the two of them used to be engaged. If he does though, that would give another reason for him to dislike Kangmu. But he probably figures it out by the end when he agrees to kill Kangmu when Hanna's father tells him to. Hanna isn't exactly subtle about her tunnel vision of saving Kangmu.
If this is true, it's probably one of the reasons he's so quick to kill Gal, if he suspects him and Hanna aren't just friends.
Gyeonghui also doesn't seem to care about his actual wife. Like he barely does.
And considering what other messed-up shit Gyeonghui gets up to with the agency, I wouldn't put this stuff with Hanna past him. I think his character is perfectly capable of adultery, perversion, and... yeah. I think I'm gonna end it here.

Didn't mean for that last one to be an essay... haha oops. Lmk what you think of these and if you have hcs too cuz I love hcs and there are so many opportunities for them in this show.

Every story begins with a good hc. If you wanna use any of mine, feel free to just remember to give me credit for the idea :)

Side note: I talked two of my school friends into watching Snowdrop with me so we watch it at lunch together and I kinda can't wait to see how they'll react to the ending.
