Eun Yeongro picked up the phone after it had started to ring.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Yeongro-ya," the familiar soft voice of her fiancé said. "I have some news about our best man and maid of honor..."

She listened intensely to every word Lim Sooho told her.

"What?" She asked in disbelief. "Hanna unnie and Gang-mu oppa used to be—"

"Yes," Sooho said impatiently. "I need you to do something."

"Like what?"

"It was clear, while I was talking with Gang-mu hyung," Sooho said. "He's still in love with Hanna noona, no matter how much he tries to pretend they're just coworkers. I need you to get Hanna's side of the story. I have a plan."

"A plan? For what?"

"You'll see," Sooho said, with a smirk Yeongro could almost hear over the phone. "Call me once you've gotten it."

"You make it sound like I'm a secret agent like unnie and oppa," Yeongro joked. "Fine. Consider it done."

"Gomawoyo, aein. Saranghae."

"Saranghae, Soo-ssi. Nyeongan."

"More wedding errands?" Jang Hanna said over the phone with Eun Yeongro. "I thought we finished those yesterday."

"I forgot one thing," Yeongro said. "Seolhui unnie asked me to pick up her dress from the dry cleaners, and Soo-ssi asked me to look at the flower arrangements he ordered."

"That's two things, Yeongro-ya," Hanna said dryly.

"Whatever, unnie," Yeongro said. "While I go to the florist's, can you pick up Seol-hui's dress? It'll be faster than if we do both together. Then after we can get lunch, if you want."

Hanna sighed, but she wasn't about to turn down what Yeongro was asking her to do, especially since it was her job to be the bride's right-hand woman.

"Okay. I'll meet you downtown."

"See you then, unnie."

The errands were done in no time at all, and by midday Yeongro and Hanna were sitting outside at one of the many small cafés in Seoul, having lunch together.

Yeongro set down her sandwich and leaned back in her seat, stretching her arms out and looking up at the cloudless blue sky.

"Haven't you ever thought about getting married, unnie?"

Her tone was light and innocent, but Hanna immediately stiffened, her plastic fork falling out of her hand and onto her half-empty plate. Her cool and casual demeanor disappeared for those few seconds.
