I totally missed this until recently but in episode 15 after Kang Cheongya comes back Kangmu gets mad at her cuz she knocked Hanna out so what if that escalated...

This is the showdown you never thought you wanted.

"I had no other choice since it happened so fast," Jang Hanna said over the radio. "I think she ran away. I searched everywhere, but I can't find her."

Her voice betrayed her panic. Lee Kangmu raised the radio to his lips.

"All right," he said. He wasn't mad at Hanna,  far from it. She'd done everything she could. But he was furious at Kang Cheongya for attacking Hanna after she'd even helped her evade arrest by Ahn Gyeonghui.

"You helped a Northern spy, so your father won't be able to help you this time," Kangmu continued. "Go hide somewhere... be safe. Over and out."

Lim Sooho got up and left the room, pistol in hand. Kangmu was left to seethe at the turn of events as he stared at the radio laying on the table.

Cheongya... why did she have to make things so complicated?

After hearing about everything that had happened from Hanna, Kangmu didn't expect Kang Cheongya to return to the dorm, but she did. Sooho walked into the room where Kangmu was waiting by the telephone. The doctor-spy herself followed him.

Kangmu had just received another update from Hanna— this one with better news than the last.

"Nam Taeil's been arrested," he told Sooho. "And Gal will be released soon. Hanna's on her way to the agency to pick him up."

"That's good," Sooho said. "It's not bad for us that Eun Changsu took over."

Kangmu nodded before changing the subject. He sent a death glare towards Cheongya. "Anyway... what's wrong with you? If you were going to come back, why did you knock Hanna out and run?"

Cheongya only scoffed. "If you were so worried about her, you shouldn't have had her do such a dangerous job. Why did you have her tail me and complicate things?"

Kangmu wanted to slap the smug look off her face. He could've said a million things in his and Hanna's defense, probably with a few good swears thrown in, but he restrained himself since Sooho was in the room, and they didn't have time for personal issues at the moment. Still, he promised himself that he'd get back at her for what she did to Hanna.

The impromptu meeting soon adjourned, though the air was still tense between Kangmu and Cheongya, as the former didn't stop glaring daggers at her. He was glad when Sooho told him to go help Pi Seunghee get the students and other hostages ready to be released once the parents and press were brought in.

Kangmu did a quick sweep of the building. While he was in the blown-out wreckage of the cafeteria, Cheongya stepped inside. He had no idea what she was doing there, but he figured it was the best chance he'd have, especially since they would be leaving soon.

"Ya," he said, storming up to her. "I'm still mad about what you did to Jang Hanna."

Cheongya rolled her eyes. "Your fiancée is fine. Weren't you just talking to her over the radio?"

"How did you know—"

"You think Comrade Lim doesn't trust me enough to tell me these things?" Cheongya asked. "Especially since at the time you told him he hadn't joined hands with you yet?"

"She helped you," Kangmu snarled. "And you repay that by knocking her unconscious and leaving her in an alleyway? She wasn't even the one who told the ANSP that you're a spy! What if the other agents had found her there?"
