Thinkin' about ya, in the middle of the city
A building that never sleeps, a firefly in the forest

"I've always wanted to show you this place," Kangmu says as he and Hanna step out onto the West Berlin street, the night lighting up with the glow of thousands of lights from the surrounding buildings and lampposts of the busy city. There are still plenty of people out and about— groups of friends going to bars, couples on dates, people going to dinner— but as exciting as the nightlife is, it isn't what Kangmu had in mind for this evening.

The two had arrived from Seoul earlier that day, Kangmu planning on moving back to Korea and Hanna helping him. Ever since the hostage crisis ended a few weeks ago, the two had been inseparable. Insanely busy, but inseparable nonetheless. Hanna had been all too happy to come with her fiancé back to Berlin and help him move back home to be with her.

Thinkin' about ya, clenched hands and a face that is about to cry
Yeah, the night I endured alone

"I've seen it before," Hanna replies, squeezing his hand wrapped around her smaller one. "But I was focusing on other things besides the view."

"Fair," he admits with a smile, kissing her temple. "Come on, let's go."

(Ah-hah) Behind the colorful city, shadow
(Ah-hah) This fierce jungle feel

He leads her away from the restaurant they'd just eaten at and back to his car, parked along the curb of a quieter street. As they climb in and he starts up the engine, Hanna catches a glimpse of the tall concrete barrier dividing the two halves of the German capital city. She can see the top of the wall lined with barbed wire and several guards out on patrol.

"Have you ever been to the other side?" She asks.

Kangmu nods. "Plenty of times."

"Is it different over there?"

"Much. The Soviets run things a bit... stricter."

Kangmu drives down back to his apartment and parks in the parking lot. He opens the car door and comes around to Hanna's side as she gets out.

"We're not going inside just yet."

(Ooh) Because of you
(Ooh)Here by my side
(Ooh) I won't cry
Hold me tight, hold me tight
To be honest, oh

He takes her hand again, and they cross the street in front of his apartment building, walking a few more blocks until they come to a small, grassy park— gorgeous and fortunately empty.

"It's prettier in springtime," Kangmu says, reaching up to touch a thin, bare branch of one of the trees lining the area. "But here's where I used to walk every evening. Just walking and thinking."

You know, I'm holding on looking at you
Like a domino, domino
I can't just collapse
Like a domino, domino

"Thinking about what?" Hanna prompts, and he turns to look at her with blatant longing in his eyes.

"You, of course. More often than not."

She gives him a small, shy smile. "How flattering."

"I missed you," Kangmu says, redirecting his gaze forward. "I wished you were there with me. And now you are."
