Lee Kangmu and Jang Hanna pulled up to the parking lot of the Seoul airport in the middle of a bright spring day. Sooho and Soohui had managed to book a flight from Japan for less than a week after they'd called the two ANSP agents.
Hanna unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door of the car, looking at the massive building in front of her.
"Come on," Kangmu said. "Their flight's supposed to land in five minutes."
"Where are we supposed to meet them?" Hanna asked as they walked inside.
"Sooho... I mean, Taesan said they'll meet us right outside the terminal," Kangmu said. "Terminal D."
"You're going the wrong way," Hanna said dryly as he made a left at a two-way corner. The sign hanging from the ceiling said Terminal D was to the right.
"No, I wasn't," Kangmu muttered, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the right. "There's a lot of people here, so stay close."
Hanna rolled her eyes with an amused smile and let him pull her down the crowded hallway. They reached the terminal exit, where the large board on the wall stated the flight from Tokyo had just landed. Passengers were beginning to stream out of the exit, carrying along with them all manners of baggage.
"Do you see them?" Hanna asked, pushing up on her tiptoes to try and see over the heads of the crowd.
"Not yet," Kangmu said. "Be patient."
"You know I'm not good at that," Hanna mumbled, but she didn't complain.
Kangmu managed to push close to the front of the crowd, scrutinizing every passenger who walked through the gate.
"Lim Sooho... where is he?"
Finally, his eye caught a tall, short-haired male walking through the gate with a shorter woman. The woman held a chubby toddler in her arms, and both had backpacks over their shoulders. The male dragged two small suitcases behind him.
"Ri Taesan! Soohui!" Kangmu called, raising his arm so the two could see him. Hanna waved next to him.
Sooho's eyes lit up as he spotted the two familiar faces. Four years ago, if he'd seen them, he'd run very fast in the opposite direction.
Things had changed now.
"Hyung! Hanna-ssi!"
He pointed them out to the woman besides him, and they hurried over.
"Annyeonghaseyo," the woman said, smiling. She had the same dark eyes and mouth as Sooho did.
"Annyeong," Kangmu said. "You're Soohui, yes?"
"I am," she said, shifting the toddler to her other arm. "This is my son Taehyun."
The boy waved, showing an adorably toothy grin. "Annyeong."
Hanna gave Sooho a friendly handshake. "I didn't know you had a nephew. How old is he?"
"He's almost five," Soohui said.
"What about his father?" Kangmu asked.
Soohui's smile faded. "He was an agent like oppa. He was killed on a mission to Poland two years ago."
Hanna stared at the young woman and her son, both seeming so innocent and joyful, but hiding the horrors of the world beneath their smiles. "I'm so sorry."
Soohui smiled again. "At least Taehyun has his uncle back alive, thanks to you."
"Hyung," Sooho grinned at Kangmu and gave him a quick side-hug. "It's good to see you."
