The next two and a half weeks went by in a blur.
When you had returned to work the following day Ivy bombarded you first thing to make sure you were alright since you hadn't called her the evening before.

You filled her in on the wedding situation, and talked to her about everything, but since then you hadn't really thought about Jake.

You tried to resume to life normally as you would every other day, doing zoom meetings, phone calls, emails, etc. and it had been nice to not have to deal with anything pertaining to Greta Van Fleet.

Well, until today that is...

You had just finished up an email and looked at the clock on your computer, 11:16 am.
You had a meeting with the management team for Olivia Rodrigo at 12:45 pm to finalize the details of her contract for the "Deck The Halls" concert, but you figured you had just enough time to grab a bite for lunch and come back before they arrived.

You pressed the button on your office phone that connected you to Ivy's office;
"Hey, you wanna go get some lunch? It'll have to be something quick though because I have that meeting at 12:45."

She answered you immediately, "Uh, yeah that sounds good. Give me 5 minutes to finish up this conference call and I'll come over."

"Oh shoot I didn't realize you were on a call.."

Ivy snorted, "You're fine. I've had them on mute for the past 15 minutes because they are only talking to each other."

You laughed, "Oof love that. See you in a few."

Just as you started to take your purse out of your desk drawer Casey buzzed in from the front desk;
"Hey Farren, there are some people here to see you."

You immediately looked back down to the clock, did you get the time of your meeting wrong??
You closed your desk drawer and quickly pulled up your email to double check.
Phew, no you were right, your meeting was set for 12:45.
You picked up your phone so you could actually talk to Casey, "Uh okay, I was just getting ready to go get some lunch before my meeting..is it important? Could they come back tomorrow?"

"They seemed pretty adamant to come talk to you now..."

You frowned, what could be so important?

But before you could even ask, Casey spoke again, "I'm so sorry! I tried to stop them but they're already on their way to your office.."

You knit your brows together, what is going on??

"Oh, uh that's okay. Do you know who it is or why they're here?"

"No they just said they were old friends here to surprise you. I'm really really sorry."

"It's fine Casey, no big deal. Thanks for letting me know." You finished and hung up the phone.

Old friends? The only friends you had were here in LA...well other than Mackenzi.

As you went to stand from your desk there was a knock on your door.
You made your way over grabbing the handle and slowly turning it, unsure of what you would find behind the door.
But one thing was for certain, it definitely wasn't the two curly haired men you saw standing before you.

"Josh?? Danny??"

You knew your eyes probably looked like they were about to pop out of your skull as you stared at the two of them...was this real?
