You were woken up the next morning by the mesmerizing scent of chocolate chip pancakes and the sound of bacon frying in a pan.

Breakfast had always been your mom's favorite meal. She had cooked it for you and Matt (and the Kiszkas most mornings) before school, and it never failed that she would cook it for you when you were home.

You leaned over and grabbed your phone that was currently charging on your bedside table, 8:32 am.

Groaning, you lowered yourself slowly back down and pulled the covers over your head.
You felt like you had only slept 2 hours.
Normally you were good at being an early riser but every time you came home the "jet lag" made it rather hard for you get up and going.

You laid there a few more minutes before deciding to start the day, rolling out of bed.
You walked over to the closet and looked through the clothes you had brought trying to figure out what to wear for the first half of your day.

You, Ivy, and your mom were heading to the seamstress first thing so you could try on your bridesmaids dress and make sure there were no other alterations that needed to be done before the wedding, and then the three of you were heading over to the venue to help Ronnie and Karen with last minute wedding prep.

After too long of just standing there you finally grabbed a white crop top with an oversized brown cardigan to throw on top, some light wash jeans, and your converse.
You weren't exactly sure what you were going to be doing later at the wedding venue, but you wanted to make sure you were comfortable.

You then hopped in the shower and washed your hair quickly before getting back out to let your hair air dry while you put on some light makeup. You figured it would be easier to let your hair dry into its natural waves, knowing you would shower tonight before the rehearsal dinner anyways.

Once you were satisfied with your outfit you grabbed your phone and checked the time, 9:18 am not bad. You shoved it in your back pocket, not wanting to forget it yet again and have another fiasco like last night, before heading down the stairs to the kitchen.

Your mom was at the stove, her back to you as she continued flipping pancakes.
Both Ivy and Matt were sitting at the bar, a plate already in front of them.

Your mom turned at the sound of you coming through the doorway, "Good morning sweetheart, did you sleep okay?" She asked with a gentle smile.

"Yeah I did." You then looked around the room before turning back to her with your brows furrowed, "Where's Sam?"

"Oh, Matt took him home about an hour ago. He, Jake, and Josh have to go get fitted for their tuxes this morning before they go to the venue too."

You nodding sitting down next to your brother, "Good morning Matty." He smiled over at you with a mouth full of food.
You then leaned up so you could see Ivy,
"And good morning to you. I'm surprised you got up before I did."
