Hi friends! Sorry this chapter is late! ☹️

This month for me has already been extremely busy so not only have I not had time to write, I haven't had time to go back through and "proof read" to make sure what I'm writing isn't crap 🥴

I also have two more GVF concerts next week, and one at the end of the month so bare with me if my uploading schedule is a little bit out of whack!

I hope you guys had a great Monday, and have a wonderful rest of your week!💜

When you got up the next morning there was another article circulating about you and Jake because of your pictures from the diner.

Naturally, all of the pictures they had were missing Arthur so it made it look like you and Jake were on a breakfast date.

You had called Calum as soon as you woke up just to let him know there was another article, which he was okay with because he already knew it wasn't what it looked like.

They didn't have anything new to go off of other than the pictures so it was basically a repeat of the other article telling everyone to "stay tuned for more." What a load of horse shit.

It was now 9:30 in the morning and you were currently packing your bags and getting Jakes guest room back to normal from your stay.

Your flight home wasn't leaving until 12:40 pm but Josh and Danny were coming over in a bit to say goodbye before you and Ivy left so you wanted to make sure you were packed and ready to go.

You had already showered and done the bare minimum to your face makeup wise because you had a lay over in Illinois at 2:30 pm for a bit that wasn't putting you back home to LAX until 5:45 pm. Which was fine, but you didn't want to have your face oily and gross for the 6+ hours during your flights, layovers, etc.

And you also wanted to make sure you were comfy, so luckily you brought a "going home" outfit that consisted of a simple white crop top, a pair of black leggings, a pair of your Air Force ones, your small cross body for the necessities (wallet, phone, passport, lip gloss, and gum) and your jean jacket thrown over top because you usually got cold on the plane.

You zipped up your suitcase and checked the room one last time to make sure you hadn't forgotten anything (not that you wouldn't see Jake again soon and could get it) before heading out into the living room where Ivy, Jake, and Sam already were.

"There she is! We were wondering when you would make your appearance." Sam said with a smile.

"Oh shut up I didn't even take that long. I'm honestly surprised Ivy beat me." You said with an eye roll as you sat your suitcase beside of Ivy's at the front door.

"I'm literally so hungover right now I'm surprised I was able to get up and function at all, much less get myself ready." Ivy groaned from the couch, "To be honest Jake you might be finding my stuff in your guest room after we leave because I think I double checked, but it's all kind of a blur.."
