"Farren we have a problem." Ivy choked out.

You didn't think when you answered your FaceTime call from the bride to be that you would see a panicked expression looking back at you.

But to be fair considering it as officially wedding weekend it technically could've gone either way but thus far Ivy had been very calm, cool, and collected with everything so you knew something really had to be stressing her out.

"Ivy what's wrong..." you asked as you sat down on the edge of your bed, your heart rate slowly rising.

"So you know how my uncles and aunts on dads side of the family were supposed to fly down today so they could help with the wedding setup tomorrow?"

Andrew had 4 brothers that he was super close with.
Sadly they all lived in Chicago, which is where he grew up, so they didn't get to see each other as often as they would've liked to.
You had only met them a handful of times at different holiday functions when you had gone with Ivy but you could tell just from those few interactions how important family was to them.

You nodded, "Yeah of course..."

"Well their flight was cancelled because of some sort of plane malfunction, I don't even know, and now they're delayed to get here. By like by a lot. They aren't going to be here until tomorrow night. Hopefully just in time for the rehearsal dinner...", You could tell she was trying not to cry but she was struggling, "Fare I don't know what to do. It's way too late to hire someone to come help but we can't do it by ourselves."

Oh no.
Maid of Honor mode activated.

"Okay first of all just try and calm down. We can figure this out, it's no big deal. Um, why don't we see if we can go like now and start ear-"

But Ivy was already shaking her head, "Can't. I called the venue before I called you and they've got some big committee meeting tonight so it's reserved."

Shit that was your big plan..what now?

"Well it's still fine! You'll have me and the guys, plus your dad! We can make it work." You nodded reassuringly.

You didn't want to freak her out any more than she already was but you knew with just the 7 of you it would be cutting it extremely close...

"No it won't." You could see the tears welling up in her eyes, "Oh my god this is a disaster already and it hasn't even started."

"Ivy no don't cry. I promise we will b-"

And in the middle of your sentence a notification popped up on your screen.
A text from Sam.

Sam
I don't know what to wear to this wedding. I barely know how to dress myself on a daily basis....please help me 🥺

You couldn't help but chuckle at his text because you knew it was true.

"This isn't funny..."

Your eyes widened.
Oops you forgot you were on FaceTime.

"Oh! No! No no no! I promise I wasn't laughing at you! Sam ju-"

OH MY GOD SAM.
THE GUYS.
AND JAYDE!!

"Actually, let me call you right back. I think have an idea. Don't freak out! Just relax okay? I'll call you right back!"

"O-okay." She sniffled with a nod.

As soon as she hung up you clicked on Sam's name and let it ring but, he picked up almost immediately.

"Oh good you got my text. So I have options but I need your help to pick because I'm not good at this sort of stuff..."

"Hi Sam, nice to hear your voice too. But also that's not why I'm calling. Well I mean I guess part of it is? But not really? Anyways are you in LA?"
