Hi friends! Sorry for not posting last week. Hopefully what's to come will make up for it..😬

Sooo I split Farrens birthday into three "parts/chapters" because when I got to a "stopping" point I realized as per usual I had already written too much but still had more I wanted to say.
And also because I'm introducing a new character in the next chapter and got carried away when writing her in.....so.....here's part one?🥴😅

The next part is already pretty much done, so hopefully I can get it posted this week also to make up for missing last week.

Also, if you are liking this story so far PLEASE let me know!! And tell your friends to read! I feel like I'm writing this for myself at this point lol 😂

The sun was setting beautifully on the horizon in front of you as the ocean waves crashed against the shore, and there wasn't another person in either direction down the beach as far as the eye could see.
You looked over to Duke who was lying next to you on a towel in the sand, his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth with what looked like a smile on his face.
You felt the warmth of Calum's hand snake around your back as he pulled you into his side before he gently grabbed your face and turned you towards him;
"Happy Birthday beautiful. I love you."
Your lips curled into a giant smile that spread across your face before he leaned into you and pressed his lips to yours in the sweetest of kisses.
"Thank you. I couldn't have asked for a better day."
He grinned back at you and pulled you in for another kiss except this one held a little bit more hunger behind it.
After a moment he slowly began deepening the kiss, pulling you as close to him as he possibly could while you reached your hand up into his hair to gently tug his long locks—wait a minute, Calum doesn't have long hair?
You quickly opened your eyes and pulled back to see Jake in front of you with his brows furrowed,
"Babe, what's wrong?"

You flung your body up right, one hand clutching your chest, while gasping for air.
As you tried to gain your composure you frantically looked around to take in your surroundings, instantly relaxing at the familiar sight of your and Calum's bedroom.

"Woahh, are you alright? What just happened?" Calum asked as he walked through the bedroom door making a beeline towards you with worry written all over his face.

You rubbed the sleep from your eyes and plastered a smile on your face to try your best to defer him from the weirdness you were feeling from your apparent dream.

"I'm fine. Just a bad dream." You replied, lazily waving your hand through the air in front of you.

Lies.

I mean come on, you couldn't exactly tell him what you had just dreamt about. Yeah it was a stupid dream that probably meant absolutely nothing..
But it was already hard enough for you to get into your brain that you just had a dream about your ex boyfriend, not to mention the first one you had had about him in a LONG time, and the last thing you wanted to do was try to explain that to your fiancé.

Now that you were actually awake and alert you noticed that when he came in the room, he had brought a tray and sat it next to you on your bedside table.
Directly in the middle of said tray was a plate topped with heart shaped pancakes, strawberries and blueberries thrown on top with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
Your absolute favorite breakfast food.
Not only had he made you your favorite breakfast, but he also had poured you a glass of orange juice and made you a cup of your favorite coffee to drink with it.
There was one single rose in its own small vase off to the side with just a few stray petals scattered around the tray.
