It had been almost 5 years since Farren's world got flipped upside down. She moved across the country, got new friends, even a new relationship. Things finally seemed okay.
Until he came crashing back into her life when she least expected it.
Happy Sunday friends enjoy an early update ♥️ The next couple of chapters I've started working on are Ivy and Ashton's wedding and I'm super excited about them 😬 Also, I've been thinking about it and I've got some ideas to continue this story into a second "book"...is that something you guys would be interested in reading...? August 16th 2021
It was now Monday. As in the Monday you were having your "meeting" with Andrew and the others.
You were currently sitting in your office with Calum and Ivy as you stared at the clock and waited for it to be time to go.
"I think I might throw up." You said to no one in particular as you bounced your knee anxiously, the anxiety running through your veins.
Calum laughed from his spot in one of your chairs where he was casually lounging and scrolling on his phone, "Why babe?"
You felt your eyes immediately widen, "You're joking?"
He finally looked up from his phone, "I wasn't...what is there to be nervous about?"
He honestly had to be joking.
"Oh I don't know maybe this entire thing and the fact that we're having to do it period, you seeing Jake for the first time since the birthday party..." you trailed off.
"Yeahhh I understand that.." Ivy replied with a wince that definitely didn't make you feel any better.
But Calum just laughed. This asshole was actually LAUGHING AT YOU.
When he realized you weren't joking he stopped, "Oh come on what did you think I was going to do? Jump him the second I set my eyes on him?"
Ivy shrugged, "Honestly? Kind of."
Calum laughed again and shook his head, "Now come on. You know me better than that..."
You stared at him blankly.
"I promise I'll be a good boy today. Cross my heart." He replied with a smirk as he lazily drew an "x" over his heart.
You raised an eyebrow. If you weren't so stressed out you would definitely be turned on. Not to mention he looked smoking hot today. He had decided this morning to "dress nice to look professional"....his exact words. So he had styled his hair nicely and decided to wear a black button up (that was only buttoned from the middle of his chest down), along with a pair of black pants that had a single white and red stripe down the side, and his black shiny boots. Typical Calum attire with the all black but you absolutely loved it because you were the same way.

"Okay ew you guys are gross. Excuse me while I actually do go throw up." Ivy said with a snarl as she stood up from her seat beside Calum, "Don't stress about this meeting Fare. You know my dad, it'll be fine. But I'll talk to you later. Bye weirdo." She then said to Calum as she walked out the door, making sure to flip him the bird in the process.
