Hi friends!
I hope you're all doing well ♥️
I think my new posting schedule will probably be every two weeks because it takes me that long to write and then proof read a chapter 🫠
Hopefully it won't be that long, but that gives me a little "cushion" lol.
Please give me feedback on this chapter and let me know if you like it!
Talk to you soon ♥️

Farren POV

"Ashton Fletcher Irwin, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

The smile that lit up Ashton's face as he looked at your best friend made your heart feel like it could explode.

"Oh hell yes I do." He replied confidently, nodding his head as everyone laughed.

"And do you, Ivy Elise Warner, take this man to be your husband, to live together in holy matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

You couldn't see Ivy's face but you knew by the eager nodding currently taking place that her smile was just as big as Ashton's had been.

"Absolutely I do."

The ceremony thus far, and the rest of the day leading up to, had gone on without a hitch.
Although you had managed to get down the isle without falling (which you credited a lot of that to Calum keeping you upright), you had basically cried during the entire thing.
It all started as soon as Ivy began to walk down down the aisle with Andrew and Ashton completely breaking down.
It was the sweetest thing you had ever seen.
The whole ceremony was filled with pure love and joy that absolutely nothing could ruin your incredible mood.

Not even Jake.

You hadn't seen him nor any of the other guys for that matter.
But you also weren't particularly trying to find them either.
You were going to try to keep the rest of the evening as "Jake free" as you possibly could for your own sanity.

The priest smiled and turned to Ashton, "Repeat after me. I, Ashton, take you Ivy, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

Ashton repeated the words with ease, like they were the easiest words he'd ever spoken before the priest then turned to Ivy for the same.

"I, Ivy, take you Ashton, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." She finished choking up on her words, making tears prick in your own eyes.

You looked across the way to see Calum's eyes on you, the warmest of smiles on his face, love practically radiating from his gaze.
It made your heart start beating faster in your chest to think that soon the two of you would be in that spot.
Vowing to love each other until death do you part.

But it also could've been you and Ja-
STOP IT FARREN.

"Now we will move forwards with the exchanging of the rings." The priest said shaking you from your own thoughts as he motioned Ashton in Calum's direction.

"Ashton place the ring on the Ivy's finger and repeat after me, "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

"Ivy," Ashton began, now also starting to choke up, "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."
