I should be upset that my mom is trying to reel me back to Filimon Heights, but honestly, it was my brother's impending marriage that bothered me to the core.

I always knew there would come a day that my parents would force me back to Filimon Heights. Because of this, I have already come up with different plans on how I could stand up for myself and for what I truly want. However, as for my brother's marriage, I have no plans at all. It's not like I could pull of a Speak Now during my brother's wedding!

"Cyprus, are you sure you're coming with me to Filimon Heights?" I asked, feeling guilty that he will have to skip work because of me. Bawas din 'yon sa suweldo niya!

Huminto si Cyprus sa pagsasalin ng tubig sa mga tumbler. Lumingon siya sa akin at marahang tumango.

"How about your work?"

I jokingly narrowed my eyes at him. "Kung inayos mo lang ang paggupit sa buhok ko, kikiligin talaga ako ngayon."

He chuckled and zipped his little travel bag close. "Baby, I'm telling you, that hairstyle looks really good on you. Kahit ano naman, babagay sa 'yo."

"Ewan ko sa 'yo!" Napairap na lamang ako sabay ngiwi.

Natatawa siyang lumapit kaya mabilis akong humalukipkip at tumalikod.

Mula sa likuran, marahan niya akong hinawakan sa magkabilang balikat at hinalikan sa pisngi. "I'm really sorry. How can I make it up to you?"

My lips began to crack a smile, but I tried to suppress it by pressing my lips together. "Hmmm . . ."

"Kakabahan na ba ako?" His soft laugh sent shivers down my skin. Kung hindi lang talaga kami bibiyahe.

I let out a sigh and turned around, putting his hands down so that I can wrap my arms around his nape comfortably. "Do you remember the Joepons?"

"Of course." He grinned, holding me by the waist. "I'm keeping it for any emergencies."

I smirked. "Well, I'd like one for an emergency too. So, let me convert one of the Joepons into a Cyprus coupon."

"A Cypon?" He tilted his head, lips starting to tremble as he tried to hold back his laughter.

Umiling naman ako at bahagyang pumikit. "Baby, tunog sipon. Let's just stick with the Cyprus Coupon."

"Right." He nodded and planted a soft peck above my lips. "But without that coupon, you know I'll do everything for you, right?"
