a meredith and derek love story. derek is a 25 year old mafia leader and meredith is a 22 year old waitress. what happens when they meet? will they fall in love straight away or will there be some bumps in the road?
Meredith's pov: We're sat on the grass next to a lake. sat on a blanket, drinking wine as we watch the sun go down.
"We haven't been on a proper date like this in a while" I smile, resting my head on his shoulder. "We haven't.. its nice" he says. I nod.
"I really like your family.. they're nice" I say. "They like you" he says. "Nancy doesn't" I say. "No she doesn't" he chuckles softly. I roll my eyes. "She doesn't like anyone.. don't take it personally" he says. I smile small.
"Stop hogging the wine" he takes the bottle. I giggle. He takes a few sips. He looks at me. "Meredith" he says. "Mm?" I look at him. "Let's get a dog" he says. My eyes light up. "Really?!" I ask excitedly.
"Let's go" he stands up. "Yay!!" I jump up. We clean up all our stuff and put it In the car. "Just.. don't love the dog more than you love me" he grins. I giggle. "Never" I grin.
"And meredith.." he says. I look into his eyes. "Will you move in with me?" He puts his hands on my cheeks. "Really?" I ask. He nods. "Yes" I smile brightly.
He kisses me deeply. I run my fingers through his hair as our tongues dance. "So.. we share a dog.. an apartment.. can we share your cars too?" I tease. He glares at me. I giggle. He chuckles softly.
He drives us to the closest dog shelter. "Not that one" he says. "Fine" I roll my eyes. We walk to the next cage. "Oh my god derek" I say. He looks at the dog. "This one" he says. I smile, nodding.
"Its beautiful.. and so cute" I say, stroking it through the cage. "His name is milo" he says, looking at the sign. We call a worker over.
"I'm meredith.. you'll be living with me and derek in our apartment" I grin. We're sat in the car, the dog on my lap. "Stop talking to the dog" Derek chuckles. "I'm introducing us" I roll my eyes. He laughs.
We arrive at the apartment. We let the dog explore the place as we get changed and get into bed. "Der" I say. "Mm?" He looks at me.
"Can I pay? For half of the apartment or something? I feel weird just living here rent free" I say. "This apartment was 2 million dollars" he says. "What?!" I exclaim. He chuckles.
I groan. "Meredith.. I want you here.. you don't have to pay" he rolls his eyes. "Okay" I smile small. "But if you really want you can totally pay me back in sex" he smirks. I giggle, nodding.
"That's a lot of sex" I smirk. "Uhuh" he grins. Milo jumps onto the bed. We smile, playing with him. "We need to get him some more toys tomorrow" I say.
The shelter gave us some food, leads and a bed for him but we'd like to get some of our own stuff for him.
"I love him derek, he's so cute" I say, kissing milo's nose. "Hey" Derek says. I giggle, looking at him. "I love you more" I grin. He chuckles softly, kissing me. I smile.
"We have a dog" I grin. "We have a dog" he chuckles softly. "Thankyou" I kiss his cheek.
"You don't have to thank me baby.. but thankyou.. for moving in with me" he says. "You're welcome" I roll my eyes jokingly. I squeal as he tickles me playfully, pulling me onto his lap.
I'm giggling hysterically as he keeps tickling me. "Stop stop!!" I sqeal. He finally stops. I try to catch my breath. He chuckles softly, kissing my neck and cheek playfully.
The dog licks Derek's face. "Ugh! Stupid dog!" He groans. I giggle as he wipes his face with his hand. "Derek.. that means he likes you" I grin, wiping his face with my shirt sleeve.
"I won't like him if he does that again" he says. I giggle. "You like it when I do it" I tease, licking his other cheek playfully. He laughs, pulling me onto his lap. "I'll lick you" he smirks. "Do it" I smirk. He chuckles softly.
"I need to feed him and put some water down before bed" I say, getting up out of his arms. "No come back" Derek whines. "I'll be a sec" I giggle.
I walk into the kitchen. Milo follows me, barking as I put a bowl of food down for him. I pour a bottle of water in another bowl and he starts eating and drinking it.
I stroke him before walking back over to derek. "Come here sexy" he smirks, grabbing me. I giggle as he pulls me into bed.
"I'm tired" he says. "Me too" I moan. He kisses my cheek. "I love you baby" he says. "I love you more" I grin.
"I love living with you" he says. "I haven't even moved in yet" I giggle. "Still" he groans, rolling his eyes. I giggle.
"Goodnight baby" I whisper. "Night beautiful" he says. I snuggle into him. He reaches over, turning off the lamp on the bedside table before wrapping his arms around me.
"I love you milo!" I grin. I giggle as derek wraps his arms tighter around me. "Jealous of a dog.. pathetic" I tease.
"I'm the most important guy in your life.. I always will be" he rolls his eyes. "Yes you will" I grin. He smiles. "You're so cute" I chuckle softly. He glares at me. I grin. We eventually fall asleep.
