"he's a birdch!" Lilia stomps her foot on the bed infront of us. She definitely meant bitch. For gods sake we need to stop swearing infront of her. "Lilia rose shepherd!" I say.

"Sowwy mommy, but he pushed me!" She pouts. "Who did?" Derek asks. "Jack" she says. Nancy's son. "You tell him that if he touches you again then he'll have to deal with his uncle derek, okay?" He says. She smiles, nodding.

She hugs him. He picks her up. "When did he push you?" I ask. "When I went gwandmas the other days" she says. "Oh" I say.

"Lily do you want to go to your room now? It's getting late" I say. "No" she shakes her head. "Come on, you need sleep" I get up.

"No" she cuddles Into derek. I pick her up. She starts crying. "Night baby, i'll come and give you a kiss later after mommy's tucked you in" he says. "Daddy!" She cries more.

I take her to her room, laying her in bed. "Mommy pwease stay here" she sobs. "You can sleep alone tonight baby" I kiss her head.

She sniffles, tears running down her cheeks as she closes her eyes. I sit on the edge of the bed. "I love you" I say. "I wove you" she mumbles.

I tuck her in and tell her a story before going to bed. "I'll be back in a minute" Derek gets up. I grab a book and start reading.

Derek's pov:
"Night" I kiss her head. "Daddy I wanna stay with you" she says. "I know, mommy's so mean" I whisper. She nods.

"Shall I sneak you back into bed?" I whisper. She nods enthusiastically. "Hide behind me" I put her on the floor. She stands behind me.

We sneak into the bedroom. "Hi honey" I smile. "What are you doing?" She asks. "Oh my god is the kitchen on fire?" I ask. She looks quickly. I grab lilia and throw her under the covers.

"What are you talking-" she looks back at me. "Nevermind" I kiss her softly. "Weirdo" she mumbles. I turn around.

Lilia grins at me, hiding behind me at the other side so meredith can't see. I chuckle softly. "Shh" I put my finger on her lips.

She giggles. I sigh. "Lilia I know you're there" meredith chuckles. She looks over my shoulder. Lilia puts her hands over her eyes so we can't see her. Meredith grins at me.

"Lilllyyyy don't hide, you can stay here" she says. She pulls her hands away. Meredith chuckles, picking her up.

"You're so annoying" she glares at me. "Sorry" I grin. She chuckles. She lays lilia between us. "You're sleeping in your own bed tomorrow" she rubs her stomach gently. Lilia closes her eyes, nodding.

We both kiss her head. "Cuddle pwease" she mumbles. We both hug her from either side.

My phone starts ringing. "I'm sorry, I have to go to work" I sit up. "No" lilia says. "He'll be back later" meredith says. She starts crying. I sigh.

I look at meredith. "Just go baby, she'll be fine" she says. I lean down and kiss her softly. "Wake me up when you get home, okay?" She puts her hands on my cheeks. "You sure? I might be late" I say. She nods.

"Come here you" I pick up lilia. "Stop crying" I say. Tears run down her cheeks. "Lilia please be good for mommy.. I have to go to work but mommy needs sleep tonight so you can't keep her up" I say.

"No! I not sleep without you hewe!" She crosses her arms over her chest. "Lilia I mean it" I say. She huffs.

I put her down and walk towards the elevator, grabbing my things before pressing the button. She screams.

"Lilia!" Meredith tries to get her to shut up. I walk over to her. I put my hands on her shoulders. "Stop being such a little brat and behave! I'll be back when you wake up.. you have no ipad or tv for a month now" I yell.

She sobs. "And you're sleeping in your own room tonight" I say. "No" she says. "Now!" I yell. She runs to her room.

I look at meredith. "I'm sorry sweetheart, I'll see you later.. I love you" I kiss her softly. "I love you too, bye baby" she says. I leave.
