Derek's pov:
"Princess" I whisper. She opens her eyes slowly. "Daddy" she sits up, rubbing her eyes. I put a huge bouquet of flowers infront of her. She gasps, her eyes lighting up.

"These.. for me?" She asks. "Yes sweetheart" I brush her hair back. "I also got you.." I pass her a bouquet of chocolate roses. She giggles excitedly.

"Thankyou daddy" she says. "I am so sorry baby, I just lost track of time.. I promise I'll make it up to you" I put my hands on her cheeks. I feel myself tear up. I hate disappointing her.

"Oh, don't be sad daddy" she puts her small hand on my cheek. "It okay.. I fowgive you" she says. "Mwah" she kisses me. I smile. She hugs me tight.

"You wanna get ready so I can take you and mommy out for breakfast?" I ask. She smiles, nodding. "I took the entire day off work today.. just for you" I poke her stomach playfully. She smiles.

"Dwess pwease.. my new one" she points at her drawers. I grab it for her. I help her get changed. "I'm just going to wake mommy up" I kiss her cheek before leaving her room.

I climb ontop of meredith. "Baby" I whisper. She opens her eyes. I kiss her cheek. "What are you doing?" She asks.

I hold a chocolate rose infront of her face. She chuckles, taking it. I kiss her lips. "I know you're mad at me.. but you also know that I'd never purposely hurt lilia.. I'm really sorry" I say.

She smiles small. "Okay" she says. "I'm taking you both out to get breakfast.. get ready" I get up. She gets up and gets changed into a dress.

I go into her room and pick up lilia. I take her to the bathroom, brush her teeth and do her hair.

She gasps as she goes into the bedroom. "Mommy we have the same!" She says, referring to their hair, that both of them have in plats, strands pulled out at the front. Meredith smiles.

"You both look gorgeous" I pick lilia up, passing her to meredith. I kiss lilias head and meredith's lips. Meredith smiles.

"You look handsome daddy" lilia says. "Thankyou" I grin at her. "Very hot" meredith grins, kissing me again. I chuckle. She giggles.

We grab our things before leaving. We get in my car. I drive to a restaurant. "Its empty.. are you sure it's open baby?" Meredith asks as we walk in.

"I rented out the whole place for the morning" I say. Lilia giggles, jumping up and down happily. "Just for you baby! And there's a massive play area in here too" I pick her up. She kicks her legs excitedly.

"You're best daddy ever!" She hugs me. "Mhm" I sigh but kiss her cheek.

"I love you baby.. go play" I put her down. She runs to the play equipment. Me and meredith sit at a table where we can see her to make sure she's okay. A waiter comes over to take out order.

"Come here" I say. She smiles, sitting on my lap. "You're an amazing daddy.. you just care about your job" she says. She runs her fingers through my hair.

She puts her hands on my cheeks, kissing me passionately. I put my hands on her waist to keep her from grinding against me. She giggles against my lips.

We hear lilia run over and pull away. "Come play with me!" She holds my hand. "I don't think daddy wants to-" meredith chuckles. "I will" I smile. "Really?" She giggles.

"Yep" I say. "Come on mama" she says. We get up and follow her to the equipment. "Daddy do monkey bars!" She points at them. "No" I chuckle. She sighs.

"You do them" I pick her up. She grabs onto them. I hold onto her so she doesn't fall. I help her all the way to the end. She squeals excitedly as I put her down.

"I did it! Daddy I did it!" She jumps up and down. "I know!" I smile. "Mommy did you see!?" She runs over to her. "Well done" she smiles.

"Your turn now" she points at meredith. "Okay" she giggles. "You need my help?" I tease. She glares at me. I grin.

She goes halfway before stopping. I see she's struggling so I go over, wrapping my arms around her thighs to help her. She goes the rest of the way across. She giggles as I help her down.

"Daddy go" lilia says. "No" I say. "Yep.. I'll help you" meredith teases. I chuckle. I do it, getting all the way across.

I grin at them. Lilia giggles, clapping happily. "Now do it shirtless" meredith says. I push her into the ball pit. Lilia laughs hysterically. Meredith glares at me. I grin, helping her back up.

She tries to push me in but can't. She groans. I grab her, jumping in. She screams.

She giggles, hitting me. I grin. "Come in" I look at lilia. She shakes her head. "Jump in baby, i'll catch you" I hold my arms out. She jumps into them. She giggles.

I pull her close, between me and meredith. She giggles as we both kiss her cheeks from either side playfully.

We play for a bit longer before going back to our table when the food arrives. We eat and go back home.
