"Just one more push my love" I say, kissing her head. She squeezes my hand tighter, sobbing uncontrollably as she pushes again.

Her body relaxes and she lays back as the nurses pick up the crying baby.

"Congratulations, its a girl" the nurse hands me the baby. "Another girl" I smile at meredith. I lay the baby on merediths chest.

Meredith is still crying a lot. "You did so good baby" I kiss her. "She's perfect" she says. "She is" I smile.

"I love you" I say. "I love you too" she sniffles. I kiss her head. We look down at the baby in awe.

About an hour later, I go out to the waiting room. One of my guys is looking after lilia for us. "Thanks bill" I say. "How is she?" He asks. "She's good" I smile.

"And the baby?" He asks. "She's good too" I say. He smiles. "Congratulations boss" he says. "Thankyou.. go home for the day" I hand him a couple of hundred dollars as a bonus. He leaves.

"Baby" I pick up lilia from the chair She's sleeping on. "Is mommy okay?" She opens her eyes slowly. "Mommy is just fine, you wanna meet the baby?" I say. She nods.

I carry her to the room. She runs over to the bed. I lift her onto it. Meredith is sat up, holding the baby.

I sit behind lilia on the bed. "This is your sister" meredith whispers, leaning closer. "I have sister?" She looks back and forth between me and meredith. We nod.

"Are you happy?" I hug her small waist from behind, kissing her head. She nods.

"What is she named? Lilia also?" She asks. "No" meredith giggles. I smile at her. "Her name is Melissa" I say. "Mewissa" she smiles. I nod.

"She so cute!" She giggles as she looks at her. Meredith smiles at me. "She's beautiful, isn't she baby?" I hug her tighter. She nods.

A few hours later, meredith and the baby are discharged and I drive us all home.

"Go to sleep, my love.. please" I kiss her lips. "But the baby-" she says. "I've got her.. you're exhausted" I say. She hugs me. I smile, hugging her back.

"The baby isn't crying right now.. will you lay with me for a bit?" She whispers. "Yes" I say. The baby is in her small crib beside the bed and lilia is in her own room asleep.

We climb into bed. She closes her eyes, resting her head on the pillow beside me. I stroke her hair gently. "I love you so much" I whisper. I lean down and kiss her cheek.

She soon falls asleep. I carefully get up out of the bed and go to check on lilia. I frown as I see that she is awake.

"You okay darling?" I sit next to her on her bed. "I scawed" she says. "Of what?" I ask. "Will you love baby more than lily?" She asks. "No! Honey, you're still our baby too" I say.

I pick her up, holding her infront of me, looking into her eyes. "Nobody could ever ever replace you.. she's another baby, not a replacement for you" I say. "Weally?" She asks. "Of course" I say.

"I love you" I say. "I wove you daddy" she says. I hug her tight. "And mommy loves you.. and your sister" I say. She smiles as I pull away.

I hear the baby crying. "I've got her, der" I hear meredith say. I sigh. "You want a midnight snack?" I ask. She nods.

I pick her up and carry her into the living room. "You should be asleep lils" meredith says. "So should you" I kiss her softly. She's sat on the bed, breastfeeding the baby.

I grab lilia a few snacks and we sit with meredith and the baby on the bed.

I ignored all of you because I wanted a baby girl🤭
