Earwyn's POV:
"I told you, Harmony! Don't go running off without telling anyone where you are! And at least bring Aerwyna with you!" I scolded my baby sister, Harmony.
"I'm s-sowwy, big b-bwover...But-"
I cut her off. "No buts, lil sis. What if something happened to you? Dad and mom would kill me!" I shook my head and knelt down so I could be face to face with her. "Look, Harmony, you are six years old. Your getting to be a big girl. But, you aren't like others your age."
"I know, Eeowyn..." I smiled as she said my name. My little sister hadn't quite learned to say certain words correctly just yet. "I j-just w-wanted to b-be alone a m-m-minute o-or t-two.." she struggled to say. Not only did she stutter, but it took her a while to get sentences and words out. Sometimes, she can't even say anything at all..
"Were those kids being mean to you again?" I asked her. She nodded. I shook my head.
There were these kids that had been bothering her for a while now. I was the only one she told. "I'll talk to them..." I told her. She put her hands up and was trying to say something, but nothing came out. I put my hand on her shoulder. I knew she didn't want me to. She was afraid. "Harmony, I know you don't want me to. But it'll only get worse if we don't do something."
"B-but they'll hut m-me even m-more!"
"Not on my watch baby sis." With that, I picked her up and went to find my other little sister, Aerwyna. Aerwyna was a normal six year old. Energetic, funny, talkative, ect. She's really talkative. She could talk a hind leg off a wolf! She's super energetic too. She loves watching the warriors train.
Both my little sisters were like my mom. Mom is a mermaid.
The story of how mom and dad got together is crazy! A lot happened. Sometimes, I'm not sure how it all worked out. But, in the end, I was sure glad it did.
My mom is a fantastic Luna and dad is a great Alpha. I hope one day, when I take over for dad, I can be as good as he is.
I am six years older than my sisters. Right now, I'm 12. I can't wait till I turn 16. The way mom and dad are with each other, and the way Uncle Ambrose and Uncle Derrick are with their mates, it makes me so excited to find mine.
I am very protective of my siblings. But I am even more protective of Harmony. Maybe because she was....so different. Her hair was strawberry blond with pink in it. It reminded me of mom's. Mom's hair was dark brown with blue in it.
Finally, we found Aerwyna. She was standing in the middle of three boys. The boys were....lying on the ground???
"Aewyna, w-what did you d-do to d-dem?!" Harmony asked.
"I fought them and won! That'll teach 'em not to make fun of my sister!"
Did I mention I wasn't the only protective sibling? Aerwyna was also pretty protective.
"Aerwyna, I am proud that you just won a fight between several strong boys, but mom and dad have told you several times, you can't go around fighting everyone." I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Sorry, Earwyn..But they were making fun of Harmony!" she said, giving me those puppy dog eyes. Great. Puppy dog eyes. While mom and dad might be able to withstand them, they make me feel bad, so I can't!
"Enough of that, Winnie. Come on. Mom and dad are worried about Harmony."
"Oki, brother!" she said, skipping merrily along behind me.
"Mom! Dad! I found her!" I called out when we had reached the pack house.
"Harmony! Oh my baby girl! Thank you, son." Mom came running out of the kitchen and took little Harmony in her arms. "Why did you run off like that, sea star?" she asked.
Harmony looked down at her feet. "I w-wanted t-to be alone a f-few minutes..." she mumbled.
"Those kids were bullying her again, mommy. But I stopped them!" Aerwyna said proudly.
"How exactly did you stop them, kiddo?" dad asked, coming in the room.
"I fought them! They'll think twice-no thrice-before they hurt my sissie again!"
Dad chuckled and took her in his arms. "Honey, you know violence isn't always the answer.." he began.
"Yes, daddy...I'm sorry...But they were hurting her! I couldn't just stand there and let them get away with it!"
"I know, pumpkin. You know, when I was younger, I used to get into a lot of fights. Every time some one made me mad, I'd make sure they felt pain."
"Weally, papa?" Harmony looked at him.
"Yes, Harmony. But, I realized later on after I met your mom, that causing others pain every time they made me angry, wasn't the right way to handle the situation. I could just hear my grandpa. 'What's gotten into you, boy?!'" dad laughed. "My granddad was a very wise man. Tried to teach me everything I'm trying to teach you. Do you understand what I'm trying to tell you, Aerwyna?"
My little sister nodded. "I think so, daddy. Next time somebody hurts Harmony, I'll stand up for her, but I'll come and tell you too. If they don't listen, or if things go that far, then I can punch their brains out!"
"Aerwyna!" my mom exclaimed. My dad, Harmony, and I laughed. "Alright my little sea stars, I'd say it's time for lunch. I made lasagna." mom smiled. My eyes went wide and so did my sisters' eyes. My mouth watered. Oh yes...!
