*Author's Note: Harmony and Alon will be singing together for this chapter. This text is Alon. This is Harmony. This is the two of them together.
Third Person POV:
It was amazing. Alon was now half siren, half merman. He now could change his tail into a pair of legs. However, their adventure was just beginning.
For back in the siren territory, the sirens were preparing for battle. Somehow, Harmony could sense it. Alon could as well. They were nervous and afraid, but, were comforted. They weren't alone. They had each other by their side.
When Harmony's parents, Ambrose, Derrick, and their family, Dawn, and Darnell heard what had happened to Alon, they were completely shocked. They were told that the sirens were coming. They were scared. But, gathered courage.
The entire pack was told the next day. Some, ran off to avoid the war. The rest, trained hard to prepare for the upcoming battle.
Michael and Marina wished badly that this was all just a bad dream. They knew there was a bad chance of losing one or even all of their children, or, each other. They knew, however, it was reality and were determined to stick by their daughter's side until the end.
Alon's POV:
Harmony's family was prepared to fight the sirens.
Harmony and I were sitting on the beach. I could see Harmony was really stressed, so I brought her here.
"Harmony, take a deep breath. It's ok." I told her.
"N-no it's n-not! W-w-we're not s-supposed t-to f-fight! I'm s-s-supposed to b-bring p-peace...N-not war..." she put her head in her hands. I shook my head and put my hand on her shoulder. She peeked out at me. I took a breath and began a special song.
Third Person POV:
A "When the waves are crashing down, pulling you to sorrow, I will sail you back to shore when there are no more heroes." Alon began.
A "Over, under, near, or far, I'll be right beside you! Standing here with open arms when there are no more heroes.." Harmony looked at him, a small frown still on her face.
A "And through it all! And through it all, when your tired and you stumble I will carry you...When starlight falls, my love will guide you home! You'll never be alone, when there are no more heroes..." Harmony could tell that her mate meant every word with all his heart.
A "It was you who showed me how..."
H "Brought me back to glory...Through hopelessness," Harmony sang softly.
A "And darkest days," Alon added. Both thinking about before they'd found each other. Their lives had been so...dark in a way. But after they found one another, their lives began to be so full of light.
B "It was breath you gave me!" They sang together.
A "And through it all! And through it all, when your tired and you stumble, I will carry you! When starlight falls, my love will guide you home..." Harmony left singing as Alon continued. She listened to every word. And she believed him, when he said he'd be there. A small smile began to form as she listened.
H "You'll never be alone, when there are no more heroes..." Harmony softly sang, assuring him that he'd never be alone either. Both knew that they both struggled a bit in the same way. But, of course, they knew each was completely different too.
The couple vocalized some chords and Alon sang a line before vocalizing once more.
A "No more heroes!~"
B "And through it all! And through it all, when your tired and you stumble, I will carry you! When starlight falls, my love will guide you home! You'll never be alone," They sang together once more.
A "You'll never be alone!~" Alon sang a repeat.
H "And through it all!" Harmony continued to sing the main words as Alon sang repeats.
A "And through it all!~"
H "And through it all!"
A "And through it all!~"
A "When your tired and you stumble, I will carry you!" This time, Alon sang the main words.
H "I will carry you!~" Harmony sang the repeat.
A "When starlight falls, my love will guide you home...You'll never be alone, when there are no more heroes.." Alon ended his singing, giving Harmony a gentle, reassuring smile.
H "When there are no more heroes..~" Harmony sang a last repeat softly before finally ending it.
The two hugged one another tight. Each feeling a bit better.
"I know you feel bad about this battle. But I know something is going to happen. Something good. And I know you will succeed, Harmony." Along spoke softly.
Harmony smiled as they finally let go of the embrace. "T-thank you, A-Alon...I l-love you s-so v-v-very m-much..." Harmony whispered to him.
Alon smiled back at her. "I love you so very much as well, Harmony. You mean more to me than water means to a fish!"
Harmony giggled a little. "Y-you m-mean that m-much to m-m-me a-as w-well," she replied.
