*Two Years Later*

Alon's POV:

"I can't do this! I can't I tell you!" I exclaimed, panting heavily.

"Alon, if you don't go out there and do it, I will soak your brains out." Aerwyna threatened me, a sweet smile on her face. I stared at her.

"Alon, you already told Harmony you had a special surprise for her. She's been looking forward to today since you told her." Darnell told me. I groaned.

"Look, bro, we'll be right behind you." Jack stated.

"He's right! I mean, Jack, Earwyn, and Darnell are the musical backup for you." Raidne replied.

"Ok...Ok..." I nodded slowly. Today was Harmony and Aerwyna's birthday. I have a really special surprise for Harmony....If I can ever get up the nerve to ask her.

Harmony and Aerwyna were standing on the beach with their parents, Dawn, Delia, her parents, Kamilia, and her parents. Raidne was with them too. I just stood where I was.

"Please don't make me do this!" I exclaimed.

"You can to do it! You don't think your ready, but let me tell you something, you'll never be ready. Just be yourself." Earwyn told me, pushing me into view.

I gulped as Harmony noticed me and smiled. "A-Alon! We w-w-wondered where y-y-you were." she told me.

I felt myself calm down by just looking at her sweet smile and hearing her voice. I must be going crazy. I walked up to her and smiled. "Harmony, I asked your dad before your birthday if I could give you this as your birthday present. He and your mom gave me their blessing and said I could." I reached in my pocket and pulled out a small coral colored velvet box. I gave it to Harmony and took a deep breath before beginning a special song.

"When the visions around you, bring tears to your eyes, when all that surrounds you, are secrets and lies, I'll be your strength. I'll give you hope, keeping your faith when it's gone. The one you should call, was standing here all along." music began playing from behind me. Harmony's eyes were wide, her parents just smiling as they put their arms around each other.

"And I will take you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong. Till the day my life is through, this I promise you! This I promise you..." I took her hand and twirled her around. She smiled at me as we danced.

"I've loved you forever...In lifetimes before. And I promise you never will you hurt anymore." Harmony looked down at the box and slowly opened it. She gasped, her eyes wide as she looked up at me. I had gotten down on one knee, holding out my hand to her.

"I give you my word, I give you my heart. This is a battle we've won! And with this vow, forever has now begun!" Harmony had tears in her eyes, a smile on her face as she nodded happily. I smiled at her and stood up. I placed the ring on her finger before taking her in my arms.

"Just close your eyes each loving day! I know this feeling won't go away! Every word I say is true! This I promise you...This I promise you!" Harmony and I danced to the music, tears in our eyes and and smiles on our faces as we gazed lovingly into one another's eyes.

"Over and over I fall when I hear you call...Without you in my life, baby, I just wouldn't be living at all!" I stopped singing and let the music play. I could hear Earwyn vocalize a humming note halfway through the break.

"And I will take you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong! Every word I say is true! This I promise you!"

"Every word I say is true, this I promise you....This I promise you..." I sang quieter as I ended my song.

When I finished singing, Harmony embraced each other tightly. "I will marry you, Alon! I love you!"

"I love you too, my little mate..." With that, we leaned in and kissed lovingly. Fireworks were going off in my mind as I kissed her.

"I said you could propose. I didn't say you could kiss her!" Harmony's dad exclaimed.

"Geode, let them be." her mom told him.

"Fine..." he grumbled. The Luna chuckled and pulled him into a kiss. I closed my eyes once more and opened them once we ended the kiss. The boys came running over and slapped me on the back.

"Good job, bro! I knew you could do it." Jack declared.

"See? Now aren't you glad you didn't have to make me soak you in water?" Aerwyna asked.

"W-what?" Harmony asked her sister, staring at her.

"I'll explain later. For now, let's celebrate us turning 18 and Harmony being engaged!" Everyone except Harmony and I cheered.

We spent the rest of the day celebrating. The cake was good. It was chocolate and shaped like a seahorse.

After everyone had left, Harmony and I hung back. We smiled at each other and dove into the ocean. We swam until we came to a rock in the water that rose above the water. We sat down on it, our fins still in the water. We held hands as we watched the sunset together. Just her, me, and our love for each other.

"Thank you, moon goddess and great oracle for giving me my Harmony..." I whispered as Harmony rested her head on my shoulder.

 "T-th-this was the b-b-best b-b-b-birthday I've e-ever had..." she said softly.

"It's the best day I've ever had. And since I met you, I've had so many good days it's hard to count them all." We laughed happily. I put my arm around her and smiled. "Thank you for accepting my proposal, Harmony.." I said as I fingered her ring.

 "O-of c-c-course...I w-was actually h-h-hoping this is w-w-what the s-s-s-surprise would b-be.."

"Really?" I asked. She nodded, smiling up at me. "Well, to tell you the truth, I was so nervous, your sister threatened to soak me if I didn't go out there and do it."

 "She kn-knew?"

 "Mhm.."

 "W-well, I-I'm glad y-y-you finally p-p-proposed...I l-l-love y-you.."

"I'm glad I did too...I love you too, Harmony.."
