Harmony's POV:

"S-sis! P-please, s-s-stop!" I pleaded as my sister was brushing my hair. I really need to start braiding my hair before I go to bed.

"I'm sorry, Harmony! Your hair is really bad today." Aerwyna said, trying as best she could to gently do my hair. This was hurting my head. "So, um...Harmony, last night, Earwyn and I heard you crying and others things. Was....it another nightmare?"

I looked at my sister's reflection in the mirror. I gulped and told her it was. "Y-yes...P-please, A-A-Aewyna, d-don't tell m-mama a-and p-p-papa.." I pleaded.

"Harmony, lately every night you are having a nightmare. I can tell they are getting worse. And this time, I'm not the only one who knows. It's Earwyn too. If you want us to keep this secret, you need to tell us what is going on. This is why I didn't want Kamilia or Delia coming over for a sleepover yesterday." I sighed.

At that moment, Earwyn came in the doorway. "Mom wanted me to come and get you girls. Are you almost ready?"

"Well, we're trying. But Harmony's nightmare really took a toll on her hair last night." Aerwyna replied.

"So you told her?" he asked. My sister nodded. "Sis, you don't have to tell us, but we are very worried about you. We just want to make sure your alright."

I sighed and decided to tell them. "I w-was i-in the m-m-middle of a d-d-d-dark f-f-f-f-.." I put my head in my hands. I couldn't get the words out of my mouth! If I had to be born with a speaking disability, couldn't I have been born speechless?!

"It's ok, sis...Slowly...Take your time..." Earwyn said.

"Kids! The guests are here! Earwyn, Dawn has arrived as well.~" my mom called. I breathed a sigh of relief. My mom has saved me! Earwyn rushed out of the room and downstairs to Dawn.

Aerwyna shook her head. "What a love-sick puppy." she remarked.

 "S-sis, d-d-don't m-make f-fun of h-him! Y-you'll b-b-be in the s-s-s-same b-boat as h-h-h-he i-is s-soon e-enough!"

She rolled her eyes. "I don't think so. But your right. Now come on! Your hair is finally done." Aerwyna had given me a lovely fishtail braid. Her hair was done very similar to mine, only she had a lattice braid. She was very good at doing hair. Our braids went well with our outfits. Aerwyna's dress was a floral light blue. It was very simple, but looked lovely on her.

Mine was basically the same, only a light pink.

 *A couple hours later*

We were having a lot of fun. I could feel Alon's presence. I was glad he was there. I really wanted to see him. But I had to wait till everyone left. Including my family.

It was finally time for cake. Just as Aerwyna and I were about to make our wish and blow out the candles, a boy about a couple years older than us came running up. He stopped short. He and Aerwyna stared at each other. I recognized him as Darnell. A boy who picks on me quite often.

I then heard Aerwyna whisper, "Mate."

Darnell walked over to her. He apparently wasn't as dazed as she was. I think I get why, though. When he turned sixteen, he saw her as his mate, but she didn't see him as hers because she was only fourteen at the time. Now, she's turned sixteen, so she knows. Darnell took my sister in his arms.

"I'm sorry I'm late, Dew Drop...." he mumbled. He was invited as a thank you for picking Aerwyna up from school. Aerwyna just nodded. Mom and dad smiled at each other.
