 Raidne's POV:

I couldn't stop thinking about my brother or a certain boy I saw on the beach last week when I saw Alon leaving with three mermaids.

Father was furious. First time he ever yelled at me....He's yelled at Alon plenty of times because he never wanted to use his abilities like a siren. But....he's never yelled at me....Even mother was angry....Everyone seemed mad at me....They said I should have stopped them. Used my voice to control them or something. Ok, ok, I know I'm an evil siren, but give me a break! He's my brother! And....That boy on the beach....I don't know....There's just something about him....

I shook my head and swam to the beach. Don't ask why I came here, because I don't know. But, something happened. I guess I was swimming too fast and I got stuck on the beach. My eyes were wide. I was panting in shock. Suddenly, my tail began to glow. Now I really started panting. In fear and shock. Is this what happens when a siren gets beached?! The glow got so bright, I had to shield my eyes. When it finally stopped, I looked down at my tail and gasped in horror. "HOLY CARP!!" I screamed.

 Jack's POV:

I was walking with Harmony and Alon along the beach when I suddenly smelled that scent. The unusual strawberry scent. I ran forward, Alon and Harmony behind me. I then heard a loud exclamation.

"Wait....I know that voice!" Alon raced forward. I followed close behind. Harmony at my heels.

We stopped short. My eyes were wide. I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life sitting there in the sand. Her eyes shot up to me. We stared at each other. "Mate." I said in a low voice.

"Raidne?! How in the world did you get here?! And with legs, might I add."  Alon exclaimed, bringing me and this beautiful girl out of our trance.

"Alon??" she exclaimed, her eyes were wide. I could see fear and confusion clouding her dark green eyes. I walked over and knelt down beside her.

"It's ok..." I whispered. "I promise, we won't hurt you."

 "Ok, I-I'm r-really c-c-confused." Harmony remarked.

"This is my sister, Raidne." Alon told her.

I looked from Alon to Raidne in shock. "You're his sister?" I asked, my voice gentle and low. I didn't want to scare her any more than she already was. The girl nodded.

"How in the name of colossal squid do you have legs??" Alon stared at her.

"I-I don't know...I got beached and just as I was starting to panic, my tail began to glow. When it stopped, I had these!" Raidne declared.

"A-are you a-a-alright?" Harmony asked gently.

"I-I don't know...I'm scared..." she admitted. "Sirens' tails don't shift into legs when they go on land. Merfolk's tails do. I don't understand how I have legs!" I pulled her close to me and held her tight in a comforting hug.

"You have legs because you aren't what you think you are, my dear." a voice said. Our eyes went wide. What on earth-? I turned and saw a woman with dark blue eyes, silvery, white flowing hair with sea blue accents, and a long, silvery white, flowing dress with sea blue accents. She had a golden crown and scepter with sea shells and pearls on them.

"G-great o-o-oracle.." Harmony and Alon bowed. Mine and Raidne's eyes were wide.

"Who are you??" Raidne asked in fear. I frowned and held her close to me to protect her.

"Do not fret, Raidne. I am the Great Oracle of the Sea," the woman said in a musical-like voice as she walked (or floated, I honestly have no clue.) towards us. "I shall not harm her, Jack. It's alright." I calmed down a bit, but Raidne didn't. She still held onto my arm tightly. I continued to hold her.
