Dawn's POV:

"Girls, what are you looking for..?" I asked.

"The perfect dress for your date tonight!" the girl that Earwyn introduced to me as Kamilia, said enthusiastically, her golden brown curls bouncing as she went from rack to rack.

"Do you want to pick your own clothes instead of us, Dawn?" the girl that was introduced to me as Delia, asked.

I nodded and went up to some clothing racks. I had let them choose my clothes for me but I never thought they'd pick a dress. "How about this?" I smiled at my choice. It was a pair of black pants, a blood red shirt, a dark purple belt, and a black vest.

They stared at me and my outfit with their mouths and eyes wide open.

"Do you like it that much?" I asked, proud of myself.

"Girl, you ain't wearing that!" Aerwyna exclaimed, grabbing my clothes.

"But all vampires wear stuff like this!" I explained, trying to grab them back.

"Well, would you rather look beautiful and radiant for my brother, or scary and ugly?" I stared at her.

"S-sis, I t-think that w-w-was t-t-t-too h-harsh.." Harmony said quietly.

"Alright, I'm sorry. But I am picking your clothes." Aerwyna stated. Oh boy...

Harmony and I waited on the bench for the girls to get done choosing their lines of torture for me. Finally, they were finished. I went into the dressing room with the dresses and tried them on.

The first one was a light pink. I think Kamilia chose this one. I went out to show them.

"Nope. I don't think that quite suits you. Try the next one." Aerwyna told me.

I nodded and tried on Aerwyna's sea green dress. I do not like this.

"That doesn't quite suit you either...Try the last one. That is sure to be you," Kamilia declared.

I went back into the dressing room, kinda wondering where Harmony went. She wasn't on the bench when I came out the first time. I shrugged and finished changing.

This one...was a pale blue. I like dark colors. These girls seem to think I'm into light colors. Light colors don't look good on me! Well, actually I've never tried on light colored clothes. When I came out, the girls looked at each other and nodded.

 "That's the one."

"Guys, please. I am not wearing this."

 "H-how a-about t-this?" a gentle, stuttering voice asked me.

I turned around to face a smiling Harmony. She was holding a knee-length black dress. I smiled at her.

"No way, Harmony! Go put that back. She already has her dress."

"L-let h-her d-d-decide, s-sister." she looked at me and I nodded, taking the dress.

I went into the dressing room to try the dress on. I could hear the three girls scolding Harmony. I shook my head, feeling sorry for the poor girl. When I came out, I spun around with a smile. "This is the one."

"Oh, no way! What're you gonna wear on your wedding day? Black?! Not on your life are you wearing this!"

"Aerwyna, it's her choice. Plus, I think she looks kinda neat in it. She may look better with a few touch-ups though."

 "No, Delia!"

While they continued fighting, Harmony and I laughed. By the time I took off the dress, they were still arguing.

"Come on, let's find you a cute summer dress." I said to Harmony.

She nodded. She doesn't really talk much. Earwyn told me she used to talk more than she does now. Maybe it's because she has so much trouble talking.

We were finally able to find a dress for Aerwyna and Harmony. Harmony knew her sister's size, plus, we found a dress she'd really like.

"So, do you think we should go back to the girls or check out?" Harmony smiled.

 "C-check o-out t-then b-b-back t-to the g-g-g-girls."

"Alright then. Let's go!" I was honestly excited.

After we got back to the girls, they asked us where we were. "We were getting away from you three while you were fighting. We managed to find Harmony a cute summer dress and we found one for Aerwyna too. Harmony tried hers on already. Aerwyna, could you try yours on? We did get your size, but I'd like to be sure." I replied.

"No way am I wearing black! I don't want to look like a vampire! No offence."

"None taken. But trust me, this isn't anything like a vampire." I replied with a smile.

"Ugh. Fine!" She took the bag and in a couple minutes came out in her dress. It fit perfectly! "I love it! Thank you, Dawn, Harmony.." she smiled at us.

 "O-of c-c-course, s-sissie!" Harmony hugged her sister.

"Yea! besides, we couldn't let you leave without a summer dress for your party." I laughed. At that moment, Jack came walking up.

"Are you girls done yet? I've already checked out with the stuff I got." he stated.

"Yes, brother, we're done." Delia replied.

Soon, we were on our way back to the pack house.

We did stop to get some drinks at Dunkin' Donuts. I'd never been there, so they ordered for me. I got the same as Harmony. A frozen hot chocolate. Delia and Aerwyna got a strawberry dragon fruit refresher. Jack and Kamilia got an iced coffee. I have to say, my drink was pretty good. When we got back, it was about time for me to start getting ready for tonight.

"I can't believe you got this instead of the pale blue one. But, oh well. Good thing I did snap a picture. Maybe I can show it to Earwyn.." Aerwyna said.

 "No, please don't!" I pleaded.

"Stop moving, Dawn! I can't do your hair if you keep moving!" Kamilia exclaimed.

"Are you doing hair down? I thought I asked for pig tails!"

"Don't worry. Just trust me. You'll look better in this," she replied.

"Fine, I'll humor you. But after we see how bad this looks, please go back to pig tails." I usually always wear ponytails. Either a ponytail, or pigtails is what you'll see me wearing. Maybe a braid on each side. Surprisingly, when she finished, I actually kinda liked it.

When I got down the stairs, I could see Earwyn

When I got down the stairs, I could see Earwyn. His eyes were wide. For a moment, I was actually nervous he didn't like it.

 "Oh, Dawn...You look...."

 "Ugly?"

"No! Of course not! You look beautiful, Dawn. Perfect..." he smiled at me and took me in his arms. I couldn't help but smile at the tingles that I felt at his touch. "Come, my little star. Let's go.." he said softly as he took my hand.
