(This text is Marina. This is Michael. This is both.)
Harmony's POV:
Alon and I walked into the tent, where we were having the reception, after taking pictures. Music began to play and Alon and I began to dance, smiles never leaving our faces. The song was called 'End of Time.' The words really seemed to fit Aon and I.
The sun shone brightly through the lace curtains that hung from the big tent. It was an evening wedding, so the sky was a beautiful shade of pink and orange, as the sun prepared to set.
After the song ended, and another song, called, 'You Raise Me Up', began to play, papa walked up and offered his hand.
"I believe you owe me a dance, princess." he smiled at me and winked. I giggled, taking his hand. Alon smiled and went to sit down. Papa and I danced, our smiles never leaving our faces.
If I'm being honest, I was hoping I'd get to dance with my dad...And maybe my brother.
As the second chorus began to play, Earwyn walked up. I smiled at him and papa and I parted. I joined hands with my big brother and danced with him. After dancing a little with him, my dad and new husband joined hands with us, so the four of up were dancing.
After the song ended, Alon and I went to sit down. Papa, however, didn't sit down. He went to the center of the room and began to speak. "Hello, everyone. As former Alpha, and father of the bride, I'd like to welcome you to this wonderful occasion. I know how much you really don't want to listen to me, but don't worry. You just have to listen to me attempt to sing." My eyes went wide, a smile on my face, as I held Alon's hand. Papa was surprising me with a song!
(Author's Note-Don't really know why I added both songs here. I just really like them and thought both should be here. Anyways, enjoy and back to the story!)
"Now, I am not the best singer in the world, so I will be accompanied by my lovely wife, Marina." A small gasped escaped my lips as mama walked up and joined papa.
"The song we'd like to sing, is called 'The Rose'. Alon, Harmony, this is for you." Mom replied with a smile. With that, music began to play. They took a deep breath and began to sing.
"Some say love, it is river, that drowns the tender reed. Some say love, it is a razer, that leaves your soul to bleed. Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless, aching need...I say love, it is a flower, and you, it's only seed." Mama began, glancing over at papa with a smile as she sang.
"It's the heart, afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance! It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance! It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give..." Papa joined mama for that part of the chorus.
"And the soul, afraid of dying, that never learns to live.." Papa sang on his own. He says he's bad at singing, but really, he isn't that bad. Course some may think I'm just saying that because he's my dad...But really, he is good at it.
"When the night has been too lonely,"
"And the road has been too long,"
"And you think and love is only, for the lucky, and the strong,"
"Just remember, in the winter,"
"Far beneath the bitter snows, lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring, becomes, the rose.." They ended the song singing together.
When they ended, everyone clapped for them, including Alon and I. We got up and walked over to them. We smiled brightly at mama and papa before hugging them.
"I l-l-love y-you b-both so m-m-much..." I said quietly.
"We love you too, sea star..." mom whispered to me.
Before we knew it, it was time for cake. Aunt Louise and Aunt Leah made it. It was beautiful. It was frosted white, with swirls, sea stars, sea shells, and flowers. Even a sand dollar. The inside was chocolate.
Alon and I each took a fork before taking a small piece. We smiled and faced each other, feeding one another the piece we'd taken. We smiled and laughed as we ate. We hugged each other. It didn't take long for pieces of cake to be cut and served. The cake was really good. Alon agreed. He'd never had Aunt Louise and Aunt Leah's cake before, but he knew I had and really liked it. So, he agreed they could make the cake.
It was a wonderful wedding and a wonderful day. Everyday with Alon is a wonderful day. The time passed by quickly. And honestly, it passed much too quickly for my taste. Before I knew it, it was time for Alon and I to leave.
Just before we drove off in the car, I threw my bouquet of white roses, accented with blue forget-me-nots. I turned and smiled as I saw Raidne had caught it. We all waved to our family and friends as we drove off into the sunset. Alon put his hand on mine as he drove. He'd learned to drive almost a year and a half ago.
"I love you, Harmony," he turned and looked at me with a smile before looking back at the road.
"I l-l-love you t-t-too, A-Alon," I smiled back. This was one of the best days of my life, for sure.

We are nearing the end of a long journey. There may possibly be a few more chapters before an epilogue. Thank you all for sticking with it this long and I hope you stick around for the end, and for the third book of the series. I can't wait to start it. I've been dying to start it, lol. But, anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Have a good day!
