Harmony's POV:

It's been about a week since Alon came. We spend every day together. Uncle Pacific and Aunt Athena come visit every couple of days to check up on him. Cousin Dylan hasn't come to visit. I don't think he likes my mate. And really, I don't understand. He doesn't even know him. Just because he's a siren, doesn't mean he's bad.

Alon has been staying in our hot tub. Dad was thinking about getting one installed, but wasn't sure. After Alon came, well, he had it installed really quick. Sometimes, I'd grab my sleeping bag and secretly go sleep in the hot tub room to keep Alon company. Well, tonight was one of those nights. I took my pink sleeping bag that had light blue sea shells printed all over it, and went to the hot tub room. I smiled when I saw my mate. He smiled at me.

"E-everything will b-b-be ok, A-Alon...I p-p-promise..." I whispered. He nodded. We soon drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

 Harmony and Alon's dream:

I opened my eyes in a familiar field. My eyes widened as I realized this was the same field where I had met and talked with the Moon Goddess and the Great Oracle of the Sea. I then heard groaning beside me. I turned and gasped in complete shock. Beside me, lay Alon! But it wasn't just that that shocked me. Alon had legs!

 "A-Alon?!"

He looked up at me. "Harmony?" he asked before realizing he spoke. Our eyes were wide. "Wait, I'm talking! Where are we?? And why does my tail feel strange?" He looked down at where is tail would have been and yelped. "My tail's gone!!"

I knelt down beside him and explained everything I knew about this place.

"M-maybe they w-w-want to t-talk t-to us.." He nodded, his eyes still wide, trying to process everything. I noticed he was wearing my dad's shirt that he gave Alon to use as well, as a pair of black shorts. The shorts reminded me of his tail.

"Hello, Harmony, Alon." a voice said suddenly. We looked towards the voice and saw two people had appeared. It was the Great Oracle and the Moon Goddess. Alon stared at them, his eyes wide.

 "H-hello..." I spoke up.

"I am glad to see you have met your mate, Harmony. And that you two are doing well together." the oracle replied.

"But can we even stay together? My family, Harmony's family...I am a siren. She's a wolf and mermaid. We're enemies..." Alon looked down and sighed. I frowned.

"It doesn't have to be that way, Alon. Harmony, your destiny is here. The sirens are on their way." the Moon Goddess said.

 "W-what?! N-no! I-I can't d-do this! N-n-n-not a-a-a-alone..." I protested. "

You are not alone, Harmony. And you can do this. You have your mate and your family by your side." the Moon Goddess declared.

 "T-th-they'll be k-k-killed...The s-s-sirens a-are s-so much m-more p-powerful...They h-have m-more p-p-p-people that w-we do..."

"But there is still a chance. You have a whole nation of merfolk who are loyal. They will help if asked." the Oracle told us firmly.

"But the merfolk don't like the sirens. They're afraid of them. Some of them still don't like wolves and some of the members of her pack don't like merfolk!" Alon stated.

"Perhaps, Alon. But give them a chance to make the right choice. Give them a chance to help."

The Great Oracle nodded in agreement and added to the Moon Goddess' words. "Just one of the many things that your father and mother never taught you. Trust. They taught you that you cannot trust anyone but that is not so. It is important to trust, Alon. There will be times you may trust the wrong person, but nevertheless, there are many, many people you can trust. Like Harmony. We all know you trust her and love her."
