Chapter 39

Harmony's POV:

 It was finally the day Alon and I had been waiting for. We were having the wedding at the beach, because it's such a special place for us. 

 Aerwyna is my maid of honor. Delia, Raidne, and Kamilia are my bride's maids. Darnell is Alon's best man. His groom's men are John, Kamilia's mate, Jack, and Earwyn. 

 Aunt Louise and Aunt Leah had just finished my hair and makeup when mom came walking up to me. 

 "Harmony, I made you a promise about your dress. And I kept it. You've dreamed about this kind of dress since you were a little girl." she smiled and handed me the dress she held. 

 My eyes went wide. It was exactly the type of dress I wanted. Long, lace, puffed sleeves with pearls, lace on the skirt...Oh, it was beautiful....

 "Oh m-m-mama....Thank y-y-you!" I exclaimed, hugging her. 

 "Of course, sea star...Now, go put it on!" I nodded with a smile and went to hurriedly put on my dress. 

 I was honestly going to wear my summer dress. I didn't really mind wearing it, but I am so happy I get to wear this wedding dress. After I had put it on, I spun around, looking at myself in the mirror. I looked so pretty....It went so well with my pearl hair pin Alon gave me. I walked out and showed everyone. 

 "Sis, you look like a princess!" Aerwyna exclaimed. 

 "You look stunning, my little sea star...I am so proud of you..." my mom smiled at me, kissing the top of my head. 

 "Thank y-y-y-you m-mama...I l-l-l-love it..." 

 "I'm glad you do, Harmony. Now I think it's time for the ceremony to start. Are you ready?" I nodded and took her hand. My heart was racing. This was it. From this day forward, I won't be miss anymore. I'll be Mrs.

 Michael's POV:

 It was finally my little girl's wedding day. I promised myself that I wouldn't cry, but I think I'm gonna end up breaking that promise. 

 Harmony came walking up to me, holding Marina's hand. She looked so grown up...So beautiful....Oh shark bite. Here come the water works...

 I smiled and took Harmony's hand. "You look beautiful, my little princess...I am so very proud of you and I love you so very much.." I hugged her and felt as she kissed my cheek. 

v"I l-l-love y-y-you t-too, p-papa..." she smiled brightly. 

 Music began to play, and Harmony's bride's maids walked down the aisle. Next, Aerwyna, as the maid of honor, walked down the aisle. Finally, the wedding march began to play. Harmony and I walked slowly down the aisle. Alon's eyes were wide as he stared at Harmony. Harmony smiled at him, her eyes moist. When we got to the altar, we hugged each other. 

 "Who gives this woman to be wed?" the preacher asked. 

 "Her mother and I do." I answered, taking Marina's hand and sitting down. We looked at each other and smiled. I gave her hand a gentle squeeze, which she returned. We listened as the preacher spoke. Before I knew it, it was time for the vows. 

 "Do you, Alon, take Harmony Gracelynn, to be your wife? Do you promise to love her, honor her, comfort her, and keep her in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" 

 "I do." Alon nodded with a smile. 

 The preacher turned to Harmony. "And do you, Harmony Gracelynn, take Alon, to be your husband? Do you promise to love him, honor him, comfort him, and keep him in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" 

 "I do." Harmony smiled.

 "May we have the rings?" Aerwyna and Darnell handed Harmony and Alon the rings. They smiled at each other as they slipped the rings on each other's finger. "Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Alon pulled Harmony close to him and kissed her lovingly. Tears rolled down my eyes as I smiled. My baby girl is all grown up... 

 "Our baby girl..." Flame spoke softly, tears in his eyes, smiling. 

 "Our little princess.." I nodded.
