Chapter 50

May gaganapin na awarding show for restaurants owner sa Pilipinas. It was a public show, ilalabas ang mukha namin sa Media, kaya naman nang manominee ako at mainvite rito ay sobrang saya ang nagawa ko. And also, there's a battle who will be the best cook..I am little nervous but I believed I will made it.

"Andra baby! Cheer for Tita, okay?" I told Andra.

Nasa bahay pa lamang kami at papunta pa lang sa event. Sa kanila muna ako sasabay dahil mayroon pang inaayos si Liam sa kanilang kompanya.

His Dad and him is now fine. Mabait naman ang daddy ni Liam at tumatanda na rin ito kaya si Liam na ang nagmamanage. That makes him more busy, that's why he can't go to the event. I mean, I understand him..pero syempre hindi mawawala i'yong tampo ko.

Hindi ko pa siya sinasagot, but I believed it's near..I have plan for it. I guess after this awarding I will accept him..to be with me again.

“Goodluck sa'yo, Chef Lorin!" anang ni Meg nang magkita kami sa labas ng event.

“Thanks, Meg." I told her.

"Good luck, Chef. Kahit nasapak mo ako non, pagdadasal ko parin na manalo ka!" ani naman ni Ryan.

Bahagyang natawa kaming lahat, as well as ate jasmine and meg who's holding Andra.

"O siya, sis! Gagalingan mo ah? Hahakot awards ka for today's video, ha!" ngumiti ako kay ate jasmine at kiniss si Andra sa kaniyang pisngi.

Pumasok na kami sa loob, at tulad ng inaasahan ko marami ngang tao ang pumunta. I've seen Andrew somewhere, and I've also seen the richest Viton’s, Georgina Jane Viton and Matthew Lei. They're here to watch I guess.

Napatigil lang ako sa pagtingin sa paligid nang tumunog ang phone ko. Ngumiti ako nang makitang si Liam ang nag message

Liam:

I will came, late lang pero pupunta. Don't be nervous, I know you will handle everything verywell. Good luck, agapi.

Ngumiti ako nang malawak tsaka ipinasok na ang phone ko sa loob ng bag ko. I am on my way to where the other contestants or resto owners are in when suddenly I heard someone calling me.

Napahinto ako nang may tumawag sa akin, dahan-dahan akong lumingon kung sino ito. For a moment, my eyes widened when I saw who it is.

“Bella." I didn't recognize her first, pero nang maglapit kami ay namukaan mo siya.

Sandaling bumalik sa akin ang nangyari sa amin dati.. she was about to kill me that time..

"Hi, Lorin..Nice to meet you.....again," she shyly talked to me.

Pero hindi ko rin ikakaila na gumanda siya.. though she's pretty even before. Medyo ano lang sa ugali.

"Nice to meet you, Bella. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm fine..I wanted to apologize for what happened between us before..swear..I regretted it all..I am sorry..I was just so inlove with Liam..but you know I can't do anything about it..he backs out on our marriage..and I realized that I needed to apologize.."

Hindi ako nagsasalita. Nananatili lamang akong nakatingin sa kaniya. It is nice to hear that she's now apologizing that I never heard from her before.

"I'm very sorry, Lorin. I know that it's my fault, noon ko pa gustong makausap ka e..but I've heard that you leave Karaña for some reason.."

"It's all fine to me now, Bella. Noon pa naman ‘yon. Still glad that you've sorry..so yeah..I guess we're fine now?" I asked, feeling a little shy.

"Of course! That’s the thing I should tell you..it's shy to say this..but I am a fan of yours..hindi mo lang alam but I've always watching your videos cooking!"

I feel so humbled when I heard her talked about me. Sinong mag-aakala na magiging fan ko siya?

"Thank you, Bella.." I told her.

“Miss Ayasa Lorin Parreña, the event will start soon..let's prepare na po? Follow me Ma'am,"

"Sorry, let's just talk later..” I told her.

"Sure! Congrats again and good luck!"

The competition is over. Natapos ko nang iluto ang best dish na ginawa ko. And now is the testing, nagulat pa nga ako nang makitang si Bella ang isa sa mga judges.

I put a wide smile on my face as I heard the judgest comments on the food I've made. They told me that it's perfect na the best daw that's why I am confident.

“The best chef award goes to...”

I didn't even care about the award or who will it be, I manage to finished the dish I've made earlier and they told me that it's good that's why I am fine now.

“Ayasa Lorin Parreña!”

I smiled more as I heard that it was me who won. It was me who won the tile for being the best chef. Ngumiti ako sa media nang sabihin nilang ngumiti raw ako.

I have a three award. Best Dish, Best Chef, Most Famous Restaurant.

Ngumiti ako nang sabihin ng isang staff ng event na may mag iinterview daw sa akin. Inayos ko muna ang sarili ko bago sumalang dito.

And my mind went shock for a second as I heard who's person that will interview me.

“Reporter Journalist KC Villafuerte,"

"Good Evening, Ms. Parreña..it was nice to meet you." ngumiti ako sa kamera.

Itinapat sa akin ni Kc, kapatid ni Liam na babae sa kamera nang tanungin ako nito. She grown prettily, matangkad na ito at mas maganda. Huling kita ko lang sa kaniya ay nung may party sa mansion nila Lola..

"It's nice to meet you, too..Kc," I told her.

Natapos ang interview niya sa akin. Ngumiti ito sa akin nang malawak. I knew that she remembered me.

"Ate..you're so pretty now..more prettier," she told me.

Ngumiti ako at niyakap siya. "It’s nice to meet you, Kc..ang laki mo na..you look stunning!" I told her.

"Thanks, ate.." she answered humbly.

"How's your relationship with Kuya?" She suddenly ask.

"He's courting me..and I am planning to answer him after this event..maybe tomorrow..” I told her.

"Oh..ate..I think you should answer him right now."

Naguluhan akong tumingin sa kaniya. May iningunguso siya sa akin, lumingon ako sa kung saan ‘yon.

There, I saw Liam’s talking with other woman..the woman is smiling at him, and he did too. Nag ngingitian sila sa isa't-isa na parang gusto nila ang isa't-isa.

Kinurot ko ang aking sarili upang pigilin ang sariling pumunta sa kanila. Humarap ako kay Kc.

"Should I answer your brother or not?" I asked her.

I am now pissed. Nandito si Liam pero hindi siya dumiretso sa akin?! Nakuha pang maunang kausapin ang ibang babae kaysa sa akin?!

"I think you should ate..baka iyakan ka nanaman niyan, e." she chuckles and looked at me.

Ngumiti ito sa akin at ininguso ulit ang kaniyang kapatid.

“He’s enjoying talking to the woman, ate..pumunta ka sa kanila..at angkinin mo ang iyo!"
