The legend of Korra: The Sansar Returns

Chapter 11

Naga made it perfectly clear she wants no more than four on her back. So Asami thought of another way of transportation. She took us to Future industries Warehouse, opening the garage door. The blinding lights turned on as did the engine. She drove the car, as it swerves in front of us, "You think this'll do?" she asked with a light smirk. Mako, Bolin, Korra and I smile at her and we all jump into the car. Mako was in the passenger seat while Korra, myself, and Bolin were in the back.

"I like the new Team Avatar's style." Mako said impressed. Asami changes gears and they drive off. 

Everything was mostly peaceful once we arrived in Republic City. My mind wondered on what the Equalists might be doing?  My mind wondered on Tarrlok. Since there suppose to be Equalists running rampant I hadn't seen not one police car rushing by. Then the radio spoke, "Unit two sixteen, cancel that ten fifty-eight at Harmony Tower. Come back to the station, over."

"My dad had police scanners installed in all of his cars. I guess now I know why." Asami sighed.

A moment later, "Calling all units, Level Four Alert. Jailbreak at headquarters. Officers down, electrocuted. Chi-blockers and Equalist convicts are still at large armed and dangerous." I leaned over at the radio, listening intently, "Last seen heading east. I repeat, Level Four Alert. Again, Last seen heading east. I repeat, Level Four Alert. Equalist jailbreak!"

Asami the steps on the breaks as a truck and several Equalist motorcyclists rush through the traffic.

"Chi-blockers!"

"That's them!"

"Let's get 'em!"

Asami changes gears and begins the car chase. Cars twirl and stop crashing into the truck as it plows through the street.

Jo-Jo's POV

I slowly opened the door to Amon's quarters and peeped inside to see if Amon was there. Once the coast was clear I slowly made my way toward his desk which was located by the window next to a large mirror. If this message is correct, then there's probably something behind or under that mirror. As I attempted to remove the mirror, I heard a rough, "What are you doing?" 

I gasped, turning around, "Lieutenant. W-What are you doing....here??" I asked nervously.

"I just asked that," he replied, stepping forward. He looks down, seeing the note in my hand.

"It's nothing important." I said, placing the note in my pocket. Lieutenant narrowed his eyes, but as he tried to inspect further, an Equalist knocked on the door.

"Sir, there's a new shipment of benders outside." 

Lieutenant glanced at the Equalist and growled annoyed, then turned his attention back at me, "I'm keeping an eye on you. You think you have everyone else fooled, but I wasn't born yesterday." with that he turns around and strides away. 

I sighed, relieved that was over, and continued the search. I carefully removed the mirror and saw that one of the floorboards was loose. Carefully, I took them out one by one until I found a stack of letters and a journal.

Yukari's POV

Asami dodges the cars and still tails the chi-blockers but a massive truck blocks their way.

"Korra! Bolin! Give me a ramp! Now!" Asami told them.

Korra and Bolin earthbend a massive ramp that sends the car soaring into the air before landing safely, resuming their chase. Mako uses his lightning and strikes one of the chi blockers motorcycles, making the chi-blocker fall to the ground. Bolin earth bends earth darts, hitting the wheel of another motorcycle, causing the chi-blocker to fall. Asami dodges the fallen cyclist. The rest of the chi-blockers begin to use a smoke screen and move right in front of them. Not being able to see, Asami puts on her goggles and notices the chi-blockers turning to the right.
