"Raiding the Sato Mansion is a risky move with Tarrlok breathing down your neck." Tenzin spoke as he, Chief Beifong, and Lady Haruka stood overlooking the city as we headed back towards the Sato mansion, "If we're wrong ..."

"I know. I can kiss my job goodbye." interjected Chief Beifong,  "But protecting Republic City is all I care about. We can't let Amon get his hands on this new weapon."

A few moments later we arrived at the mansion, Lady Haruka told us that she'll stay and keep watch for any Equalists from on the airships while we went inside. The metal-bender cops burst into the living room, causing poor Bolin to raise his arms in fear.

"What are you doing here?" Asami questioned angrily and surprised.

"We have a reason to believe that there's a factory hidden below the mansion." Chief Beifong told her.

Asami narrowed her eyes, " I think I would've noticed if there were a factory underneath my house. The lies you people come up with just to persecute my father." I wish they were, I thought looking away somberly as Mako comforts her.

"Where is your father?" Tenzin asks.

"In his workshop, behind the house." Asami replied.

She took us to a building at the back of the mansion, metal benders scoured the area to see if any Equalists were nearby. We entered the workshop, but no sign of Mr. Sato anywhere.

"Dad? Hello?" Asami called out, searching for her father. I wanted to shout it out from the top of my lungs, but I just stood there silently.

"Chief, the estate's been secured. No one has left the workshop since we arrived." said an officer to Chief Beifong.

"Perhaps we just couldn't see him leaving." Chief Beifong said. She slowly walks into the middle of the room with her hands behind her back. She raises her leg and metalbends her left sole, removing it to expose her bare foot, and slams it on the ground. I've heard that this technique called seismic sense, a very unique and innovative way to detect vibrations in the ground to perceive objects, people, and other aspects of their environment, "There's a tunnel beneath the workshop running deep into the mountainside." Chief Beifong said.

"What? There's no tunnel." Asami said in disbelief and slightly angry.

Chief Beifong looks at the floor and metalbends to remove the metal layer, exposing the stairs and an elevator going down. Everything made sense now, I knew we weren't crazy. I did however felt some pity for Asami though.

"Do you think your dad knows about this tunnel?" Bolin whispered to Asami.

Asami knitted her brows confused, "I don't understand. There must be an explanation."

" Maybe you don't know everything about your father." Korra told her.

"I'm so sorry you had to know like this." I joined placing an empathetic hand on Asami's arm.

" Officers, into the tunnel." Chief Beifong ordered,  "Be cautious." The officers clicked their heels and head down the tunnel. As we were about to follow them, the chief stopped us,  "Uh-uh, you three stay up here. Officer Song, Yukari, keep an eye on them."

Chief Song saluted as the chief, Korra and Tenzin disappeared into the tunnel. A few minutes have gone by, but it felt like ages as we stood.

"Hey, Yukari." Mako spoke up, breaking the awkward silence, "I want to apologize for what I said, we---"

"It's okay." I interjected, "Besides, you didn't know." Suddenly loud bangs erupted from inside the tunnel.

"What was that?" Bolin asked.
