The time came for the championship match. We trained so hard for this, backing away isn't an option. I was however feeling a little uneasy about this,  what if this was all a set up from the start? Then the lives of the onlookers would be in danger. Almost all who're her are benders. But maybe I am overreacting.

"Now I know there's a big crowd but don't be nervous. You're gonna do great, I believe in you." Bolin said to the Pabu who looks up at him innocently. I sighed shaking my head, putting on the protective guard on my wrists. Over onto the stage, the ring announcer comes up slowly on a platform, a lone light beaming down on him as the spectators cheer.

"Introducing the challengers, the Future Industries Fire Ferrets!"

We stood on a platform that extends slowly onto the ring. Sitting on the far right was Hiroshi and his daughter Asami. Asami blow a kiss at Mako and winks to him. Mako does the same. I growled annoyed, steam escapes my nostrils fogging up the visor of my helmet. When we've reached the arena, Bolin signals to Pabu.

"You're on, Pabu." Bolin whispered.

Pabu jumps down and does his trick by moving around on his front paws before doing some backflips while Bolin uses an earth disk, removing the center for Pabu to backflip through and back, ending the performance with one paw standing.

"Yes! Nailed it! He's so talented!"

"And their opponents, the three timed defending champions, the White Falls Wolfbats!"

Suddenly on the far end of the ring were Bat-masked Wolfbats with purple capes howl and spread their wing capes while fireworks go off all around the arena. I glanced at Korra who shared my slightly irked expression. Tahno takes off his bat mask and unties his cape.

"I'm gonna knock Tahno's stupid hair off his stupid head!" Korra said angrily while pounding her fists.

The Wolfbats instantly move toward their opponents and Tahno attempts an uppercut on Korra with his waterbending fist. Korra moves back to barely dodge it and backflips, only to be hit by a waterbending blast from him.

Mako firebends and misses while Ming takes two earth disks and kicks them to Mako, followed by two more, which is enough to force him back to zone two.  The fire Wolf bat flips forward while the other punches a stream of water. Bolin kicks some earth disks toward him. One of his disks bounces off the side ropes and hits the fire Wolf bat, while I countered sending two streams of fire. Bolin and I gave a high five.

"Nice shot!" Mako exclaims.

Tahno looks on in slight irritation for that but I didn't care. He runs out the way of Mako's shot a another fireball. Tahno waterbends a prolonged stream of water at Bolin, forcing the earthbender into zone three. The center of the ring lights up and the Wolfbats are allowed to advance.

"What's the big idea, ref? That was a hosing foul!" The ref however signals that it was not. Something's fishy, I thought. The match continues as Korra begin to waterbend, only to be hit by Tahno's own attack. Bolin launches a disk at Tahno, who dodges, as Korra rolls to the side. Mako dodges a disk from the earth bending Wolf bat and begins firebending back at him. The earthbending Wolf bat counters lifting up a disk under Mako's foot, tripping him forward, before launching another disk at Mako, sending him back into zone three.

Somethings definitely fishy, I thought as the match continued. Tahno freezes the water when Bolin jumps back, causing him to slip, get hit by a fire blast and fall out of the arena. The crowd boos.  Tahno and his teammates all attack Korra as Mako and I rolls out of the way of an oncoming disk and attempt a fire blast back.

Tahno and the earthbending Wolf bat both attack Korra, who gets pushed back into zone three and the Wolfbats advance. Mako and I send out a firebending blast at the remaining teammates, but misses. Mako and I move in front of Korra and attempts to firebend to protect her from the triple elemental attack, but we get pushed out of the arena. Luckily Mako grabs me by the collar. Korra then swings us in the air. As the unknowing Wolf bats had their backs turned towards the audience. With two fiery punches and a flaming spinning back kick, I took down three of his teammates while Mako firebends kicks a fiery blast at Tahno. Tahno stands, infuriated, as the bell rings. I send a blow kiss at him as Mako and I smugly returned in our fighting poses.
