My eyes opened up groggily until I noticed that I was bound and chained. I turned finding Korra strapped in with chains while Asahi was chained on his knees, Asami however was chained up to a railing. Korra turned and her eyes widened, "You're awake!" she exclaimed. Her mouth was muzzled so I could barely understand her.

"W-What happened?" I asked.

"We were ambushed by the Queen's forces." Asami replied, "And we're heading back to Ba Sing Se."

Great, one blunder after the other. I then remembered what we were doing in the first place. Finding Aiwei and bringing him back to Su in Zaofu. We found him in an inn in a desert location only to find that Aiwei's soul was tossed into the Fog of Lost Souls, condemned to roam the mental prison for eternity. Korra then confronted Zaheer while I stood back and waiting just in case something goes wrong.  Korra asked him who is he working for, to which Zaheer replied that they are members of the Red Lotus, a secret society dedicated to restoring freedom to the world. When Korra asks if they are related to the White Lotus, Zaheer explains that the Red Lotus is a reflection of what the White Lotus was intended to be. He then went in great detail about the birth of this secret society and what it stand for.

Brushing off the explanation as a "great story", Korra notes that it does not explain why they tried to kidnap her as a child. Much to her shock, Zaheer reveals that it had been Unalaq's idea. Which in all honesty shocked me as well. I knew Unalaq was a shady character, but never knew that he was apart of the Red Lotus. Zaheer recalls that he met Unalaq as a teenager after they both joined the society, and they learned about Raava and Vaatu as well as Avatar Wan and Sansar Aya's decision to split them, an act he describes as "foolish". Korra defends Wan and Aya by pointing out that they were attempting to restore balance in the world, prompting Zaheer to reference the closing of the spirit portals, a decision with which Korra herself disagreed. Korra processing this information concludes that the Red Lotus intended for her and I to open the portals and release Vaatu and Kurayami, an assertion which Zaheer confirms. Korra then asked about Kazuya, since she resided within me.

Zaheer responded that Kazuya was a weak manifestation, implying that the true Sansar should be the Spirit of Night, Kurayami. He then continued with claims that the true mission of the Red Lotus is the same as Korra's: to restore balance to the world by bringing the spirits back and eliminating the existence of nations and governments. As proof of their worthlessness, he references Korra's recent experiences with a "moronic president" and a "tyrannical queen". Which is a preposterous goal, not only will it inflict conflict but ultimately plunge the world into chaos.

Now that Korra and I know what his plans are, but what we didn't know was that we were captured by soldiers of the Earth Queen. Korra struggles against her restraints, but to no avail. "We have to find a way to get out of this prison before we get to the Earth Queen."

"Don't worry, I have a plan." Asami stated. "These airships the Cabbage Corp sold to the Earth Kingdom are way cheaper than the ones Future Industries built."

"Wait, Cabbage Corp is still in business?" Asahi asked, turning to Asami.

"It's a long story." Asami replied. Asami placed her feet on the wall and pulled. Before long the railing broke from the wall causing her to land on her knee. She got up and hopped her body around the railing in front of her. "Now that's just shoddy workmanship." she then inspects Asahi, Korra and I, "There's no way I can get these locks off. I need the keys." Asami looked around then lands her gaze on the ground, "Give me five minutes, then start yelling for help." Using the railing, she opens the floor revealing a lower level of the ship and crawls down.

After five minutes Korra began to yell, "Guards! Get in here!" the hatch of the door opens revealing a pair of green eyes, "Something happened to my friend. She needs help."
