"I've been immersed in bending my entire life, but I never learned how to move like that! It's like there's a whole new style here! Think you could show me a few tricks?" Korra asked while crossing her arms.
"Ab-so-lutely!" Bolin answered.
"Right now? Come on, Bolin." Mako said annoyed.
"Just ignore him. Yeah, I could show you the basics." Bolin agreed, but pensively puts his left hand to his chin, " I'm just not sure how my earthbending would translate to your waterbending, but we'll figure it out."
"Won't be a problem. I'm actually an earthbender." Korra answered with a smirk.
"I'm sorry, no, no! I didn't mean to assume. 'Cause I, you know, I was just figuring ... with your Water Tribe getup ... that you are ... a Water Tribe ... gal." Bolin said, awkwardly; eying Korra confusedly.
"Nope, you're right. I'm a waterbender. And a firebender." Korra replied casually. I lowered my head and sighed.
Bolin placed his hand on his chin, " Mm. Mm-hmm. I'm very confused right now."
" You're the Avatar, and I'm an idiot." Mako interjected.
"Both are true." Korra replied, slightly mocking him, "Oh, and Yukari can bend all three elements too."
Bolin's eyes widened, as Mako turned to Bolin and Korra then at me, "Okay, starting now I won't keep any secrets from you."
"No ... way. The Avatar!" Bolin whispered, shielding his face and pointing to Korra.

After the match, we stayed in the arena as Bolin teaches Korra some new moves in the gym with two piles of earth coins between them. On the other side of the gym was a net that hung as a target.
"Okay, lets see what you got!"
Korra took a stance, and punched a disc that swiftly enters the net. "That was great! Good power! But in a real match, you'd be a sitting turtle duck."
Mako snickered, and I elbowed him. "Hey, what was that for?!"
I ignored him and continued to watch Bolin and Korra. " Stay light on your toes, right up until the moment when you need to dig in and strike. Then pop, pop!" he quickly raises two coins and almost immediately sends them flying towards the net, hitting the exact same spot. He turns to her with a broad smile and gestures at the net, inviting her to give it another shot.
"Okay, let me try it again." Korra jumps from side to side, before throwing two coins at the net, mimicking Bolin's fast strikes.
"Wow! Nice adjustment!" Bolin said impressed, "You're a natural!"
Mako shrugged, "Not bad."
"What's it take to impress this guy?" Korra asks Bolin and I.
"What? I said "not bad" Mako defended.
"Oh, don't mind him, he's just cranky he didn't get his steamed buns." I said, patting his shoulder. Mako rolled his eyes and scoffed, shaking his head.
"You know what, it's getting late." Mako says, sauntering off with his hands in his pockets, "I think I'm gonna turn in. You kids have fun. Nice to meet you, Avatar Korra."
"Yeah, been a real pleasure." Korra answered sarcastically.
I chuckled, "I'll catch up with you later Korra."
Mako and I climbed to the attic of the arena that look over Republic City and Air Temple Island. Sometimes, we hung out up here talking about the recent matches and planned different attacks for the next fight.
