Chapter 17

At first I thought Jake was trying to scare me or something as we turned up at an old big building which looks like it has been abandoned. We walked inside and went up a lot of stairs until we entered a room, which had cute little table with food by the windows and a drinks bar. There was also a balcony which Jake was walking to.

"Come over here" he said as he opened the balcony door and walked in. Quickly I went over and stepped out.

"Wow.." Was all I could say. The balcony looked over the whole of our town. All the buildings were lit up as it became evening. He smiled as he noticed a little pink box hidden between the door.

"What's that?" I asked. He picked it up and handed it to me. It was a small pink box with blue patterns on. I opened the box and inside was some photos..

Jake and Carla.

They were photos of them standing out here, eating at the cute table, looking down at the view. I didn't know what to say so I just kept on looking through the them.

"We took photos every time we came here and she brought this box to keep our memories in" he said. I have him the box and he put it back down.

"Jake you said you was going to tell me everything" I said turning to him. We sat down on the bench in front of us and he started to talk.

"At the time there was nothing to talk about, people will be people and I thought nothing of it" he began.

"I meet Talon at a football game, and we started of as friends. James was his best mate and still is and I became friends with him two. But when talon found out about me and Carla he became jealous and done everything he could to be with her"

I sighed. They use to be friends??

"Then one day I got fed up of it and I caused a fight with him, and I done some pretty bad things to him" he said.

"So that night when you came home with bruises and cuts and wouldn't talk to any of us that was with Talon?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yes but I had just finished a practice game and I already had some of the cuts and bruises. Talon consent really hit me back"

"And that's what causes this today? He liked Carla and you didn't like it and it's this big today?" I said.

"You make it sound pretty stupid" he laughed.

"Well Jake it sort of is" I said not knowing how we will take it.

"It wasn't at the time" he sighed.

"I know but I heard Carla is moving away because of this she's is going to the collage she wants, so why can't you and Talon sort things out?" I asked.

"I don't know" he mumbled. He then stood up and walked back inside. suddenly my phone went off..

Do you want to come with me to the beech with me tomorrow? :) xx - T

"That Talon?" Jake asked making me jump. I nodded but didn't text back just yet I just put the phone back in my pocket.

"Is there toilets here?" I asked.

"Yeah they are upstairs do you want me to show you?" He asked pouring to cups of coca cola.

"No it's okay" I said then left the room and ran up the stairs. Once I was in there I jumped onto where the sinks were and pulled out my phone.

Yeah I would love to! Xx - I sent this to Talon. Seconds later he replied.

Look forward to it xx - Talon. I put my phone back in my pocket and stayed there so Jake didn't think it was suspicious. Then after a couple of minutes I went back upstairs.

"We need to go!" Jake said worried picking up a drink for us each.

"Why what's happened?" I asked.

"Come on! Just follow me" he shouted and we ran down the stairs and through the bushes.

"Jake what's going on?" I asked. He got into the car and so did I. He turned on the engine..

"Jake!" I shouted making him stop.

"It's mum, she needs us at the hospital now!" He said worried. I'm so scared.. It must be about the baby. The whole journey to the hospital was silent. As soon as we got there we ran to reception.

"Hello how may I help you?" A lady asked.

"My mum she needs us she's been rushed in, her name is Amy scart" Jake rushed. She looked at us both then typed something into the computer.

"You won't be able to go in and see her just yet but I can get someone to take you to the waiting room outside her room" the woman says.

"I'm sorry did you not hear me? She is my mum" Jake shouted bringing some people's attention. I touched his arm telling him to calm down.

"Is there a problem over here?" A man voice says from behind us.

"Yes there's a prob-" Jake staters to moan but I kicked him and I started to speak.

"My mum she's been rushed into hospital and we can't go see her and she needs us, we want to see our mum" I say politely. The man nods and gives me a smile.

"Give me a minute" the man says and walks behind the desk where the woman was sat. Jake looked really angry put I kept kicking him to make sure he don't kick off.

"Follow me" Jack says (the man, I read his name tag!)

We walked behind him and went into a lift.

"Look sir your mum will be okay there is just a problem with the baby and she is getting examined now so I will take you to cafe get you two drinks then take you up to the waiting room by her" he said.

"I guess it's for the best, I'm sorry for kicking off its just my mum" he said.

"It's okay I understand we have had worse" jack laughs.

"And you had your sister to calm you down" I replied laughing. We walked along a corridor and entered a small cafe. Jack ordered two hot chocolates with a cookie and then took us upstairs. But where we went didn't look like a waiting room.

"You can stay in here" jack says smiling.

"What's this room?" I asked as we walked into the room.

"This is spare room next to my office, you can sit in here and have your drink and cookie and I'll come get you when your mum is ready" Jack explained.

We both said thank you then he smiled and closed the door. There was a small coffee table in the middle of the room and two really comfortable sofas opposite. We sit down and wait drink our coffee and eat our cookie.

Suddenly as I look out the window I see a lot of people run past looking really worried..

'I hope that's not mum'

But that's when I see dad running two..
