Chapter 10

Well I knew it was coming as I walked down the hall to the living room I looked through the window and Sky and Marcus were kissing. This is my house!! Should I walk in and embarrass them both?

I run upstairs and grab my phone then sit on my sofa for a bit.

Hello cupcake!! :) - Talon. That message me cringe. CUPCAKE!! ew I don't like that at all.

That made me cringe so bad!! - me

Aw I thought you would like it sweet- Talon. Okay his he trying to wind me up or something?

What do you want Talon?- me

Alright alright I'll go no need for unfair text messaging- T. I laughed and left my phone in charge and made my way downstairs. If they are still kissing I'm going to throw up. I didn't even look I just opened the door and walked in.

"I'm back" I chirped, they both jumped and shuffled a couple of spaces away from each other. All I could do was laugh and laugh.

"What?" Marcus asked looking at me and exchanging looks with Sky.

"Marcus can I have a word with you a second please" I said as I stopped laughing. I don't think he likes Sky. He still loves Cath they only broke up s thee hours ago he's hurting and she's leading him on.

"I need to go it's getting late" Marcus said.

"Oh okay, well I'll see you soon then" I replied.

"Yeah, thanks for tonight both of you" he said smiling then I watched him leave.

"Sky you can't do that to him" I said flicking through the T.V channels.

"Do what?" She asked.

"Do you think I'm that dumb?" I asked. She stayed silent her eyes glued to me.

"Marcus, he's only just broken up with Cath he's hurting and you leading him on isn't going to help Sky. He still loves Cath I know he does" I say Turing the volume on mute.

"Danni, I love him" She spoke.

"Sky think about it like I am, this isn't good for him right now"

"Danni they haven't been in a proper relationship anyway" sky was upset and hurt.

"But he was still crazy about her"

"Look I don't wanna talk about this now. I've loved him for a while now and he might love me back I'm not going to let that go Danni, I'm sorry but I'm not" she said. And with that she got up and walked out the living room and upstairs to the guest room. This isn't right.

It's 11:00pm so I decided to take my self to bed. When I get upstairs I cheek on Sky and she's just lying there eyes wide open staring into the dark. Quickly I get into bed and try to fall a sleep but I have so many things on my mind it's hard. Plus the thunderstorm outside is hard to ignore.

8:20am

I mange to get to my feet and wrap my dressing gown around me. My head hurts where I haven't slept and I can't be asked to do anything today. But Talon insists i meet him.

When I get downstairs I walk into the kitchen and see Sky sat at the table eating a bowl of cereal.

"Morning" she says.

"Morning" I moan taking a seat opposite her and pulling my head to my hands.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked.

"Hardly slept" I moan.

"Go back to bed if you want I'm leaving at 9 anyway"

"How come?" I noticed she was already dressed. And she had done her hair really nicely.

"I need to be somewhere"

With Marcus properly.

"Okay" I replied.

"Danni, are you going to hate me for being with Marcus?" She asked as she stopped eating her breakfast. I shock my head.

"It's up to you I just don't think it's right at the moment" I say. I stand up and take a tablet to cure the headache.

"I'm going to go now actually" she said.

"Don't go because of what I said"

"I just feel your angry at me"

"Sky I'm not mad at you!" I said hugging her. I started to make some toast and cereal.

Today I wanted to make my self look really nice. So I searched for the nicest possible outfit I could find. For the bottom half do I go for leggings? Shorts?skirt?
Top half
Crop top? Summer top? Vest top? Dress?

Ugh.

I finally found an outfit I really liked. I remembered I got it for a party and never worn it since. And it still fits!! Amazing! I fitted into the clothing and shoes, done my hair really nicely and out a little bit of make-up on. Then I walked down the stairs and makes sure all the windows were shut.

*calls mum*

"Hello mum?"

"It's dad Danni, what's up?"

"Oh I just wanted to say I'm going out with a mate is that okay?"

"Yeah that's fine, was the night okay?"

"Yep it was great, how's mum?"

"We will talk as a family when we come home okay?"

"Okay send my love"

I end the call, I acted like I was okay but all I wanted to do was cry. Something was wrong with mum and the bad news is just getting on top of me. The tears and tears fell from my face.

I heard someone knock on my door. Crap.
I wipe my eyes and run to the door and open it. It's Talon.

"Oh hey what are you doing here?" I laugh through my pain.

"Well your running late so I came to get you" he said then he looked up closely to my face and touched my skin.

"You look like you've been crying" he says.

"I'm fine" I reply.

"Okay let's go!" I said smiling and walk out the door locking it. He opens the car door for me and I jump in. He's not convinced that I'm fine. He gets in the car and sits there staring at me. I laugh.

"Are we going?" I said.

"Not until you tell me what's happened"
