Chapter 4

9:30am
Im awake and downstairs eating breakfast with Jake.

"Wanna go bowling today?" Jake suggests.

"Sure sounds good" I reply. Mum and dad are upstairs they felt bad for Jake after what I said to them yesterday. As I grab a bag and start to dump sweets and drinks in mum comes strolling into the kitchen.

"Morning" she says brightly. I say back as Jake walks out pretending to grab a jumper. I watch him leave.

"I don't know what to say Danni" mum says sitting down at the table.

"He's just hurting at the moment" I reply. She sighs.

"Why don't we do something today as a family try and brighten the mood" Mum changes her tone of voice because Jake came back in.

"Brighten the mood? That's a bit hard when you lose the most important person in your life" Jake says then turns his attention to me.

"You ready?" He asks. I nod.

"Wait where are you going?" Mum asks.

"We're going bowling" I say. She sighs again then turns the kettle on. Me and Jake walk out the house and make our way to the bowling alley. When we arrive we pay and are given a lane.

"Your up first" Jake says handing me a bowling ball.

At the end of the game, Jake won one game and I won another one so we drew.

"What time do we need to be at the party?" I ask as we put fit into our normal shoes.

"6:00"

We jump into the car and Jake drives off somewhere else. He parks in a free parking lot and we walk down the path to the local chip shop. I knew what we was doing. When we younger Jake use to take me to the chip shop then we walk up the hills and there is a secret place we would sit and eat. But we always order the same thing when we do this.

I wait outside the chip shop and once Jake comes out we walk along the grass and over the hills. We then move a big branch out the way and walk through the leaves and arrive at our "area"

We sit on a large branch and eat our chips and burger with a can of cola. Really healthy!

"I'm sorry about scaring you with the whole Australia thing" Jake said.

"It's okay I just I don't want you to leave me not yet anyway" I say.

"I will never leave you, your my little sis"
I smile.

We then start laughing about old times we had down here. Like the time I climbed the tree and feel on the first step. Never been good at climbing! We finish our food and drink then walk back to the car lot.

"You promise me you will be safe at this party, because if I see you doing anything stupid you will get embarrassed"

I laughed at Jakes comment. And nod. When we arrive home Jake says he needs to talk to mum to I go upstairs and start sorting out tonight's outfit. With MTV on in the background.

5:00pm

I start to get ready.

I put on my new dress which looks amazing, and sort out my hair and make-up. I've put my hair down with the front bit up. My make-up looks decent if I say so and I think I look alright. My phone goes off and I quickly un lock it and look at my messages.

I check the time and it reads 5:50pm. Better get going. I fit into my black shoes and put my small bag over my shoulder and go downstairs.

"Wow" mum says as she looks me up and down. Dad says the same.

"Come on then Dan" Jake says running down the stairs.

"Okay" I shout back. I say bye to mum and dad and walk out to the car. Jake drives to the place and you can already tell it's going to be big. It's a big hall with flashing lights and music coming from it. We park the car and then leave.

"Come find me if you need me" Jake says then runs of to his mates. I spin round and see sky walking up to me.

"You look gorgeous" she says. I hug her and we walk into the hall. She looked really pretty as well. She was wearing a short purple dress (was really short) with some sparkling gems on. We walk in and there is different tables everywhere we go sit with our other friends.

I look around and spot Marcus sitting with some of his mates. I smile at him and he sort of smiles back. Suddenly some boys come over to the table they were from the football team.

"Well can we treat anyone to a dance?" They said smiling. I didn't really know what to say I'm not use to things like this. Sky stands up and walks up to a boy and takes his hand leading to the dance floor. I stand up and walk out the hall to get some fresh air. I sit down on a bench outside.

"Hey" a voice says. I turn my head and see a boy standing beside me. He had amazing brown hair but with blond parts in and had lovely blue eyes.

"Oh hey" I say. He sits down beside me.

"Are you alright?"he asks.

"Yeah I'm fine" I say.

"You look beautiful" he says. I can't help but blush a little bit.

"Thank you" I say.

"Come inside" he suggests.

"Okay" I laugh. He takes my hand and leads me inside. We go towards a small table and sit down and start talking. The we end up dancing on the dance floor.

00:50am

Im in the car and on the way home, I felt a bit funny as I had, some alcohol. I didn't have a lot though, I only had some drinks with some in. When I got home mum and dad were a little shocked that I was the way I was but I went straight upstairs to bed and collapsed on the bed. I'm so tired and feel sick. Before I knew it I was fast a sleep.

4:20am
I woke up on the floor, I must of fallen out of bed. As I get up I feel dizzy and sick again and I find my self throwing up in the bathroom. What is wrong with me? I must of had more to drink then I think. Jake takes me back to bed and makes sure I'm in safely then finally I fall back asleep...
